wow have you ever heard the song crawling by linkin park it really fits this drawing perfectly you should listen too it if you hav'nt already its one of my favorites. and if being depressed means being able to draw like this then I wish I felt the way you did, I've never been able to express myself through my art the way you do, thats probably because being 16 im too young to know how or at least thats the best excuse I could come up with

I think this should definately be coloured - it could turn out really cool.
I love the oddness of this - and it looks like he's throwing sugar cubes.

go live out in the middle of nowhere for a while- i would suggest just bringing necesities (clothes, food, not pencils or paper...music...none of that)

He looks sad, but not depressed just very stressed. I know how expressive of you your work is, and I know you work without stopping. Take a long look into his face, and you'll know what you need to do. No one can go as hard as you do without ever stopping, or you will become lost. Just take a couple of hours and go find yourself in a park. Sit on the grass and just don't think of anything. Get away from the bricks, the people, even the pencils. All the stuff building your wall, you need to deconstruct, at least for a while.
I don't mean to sound like I know everything you can be going through, but I know the feeling I see in his eyes, and I know what has helped me through the hard times.
But it is a beutiful drawing. Many things about it that I like. The symbolism of falling apart, of having structure in the past, of the torn man in the middle of stable life and confusion. Your mind must be hot with thought.

Maybe this drawing was a call for reason, and what you wrote is what I already knew but did not want to hear. The man on the paper doesn't look like me at all, basically. But he's face looks like what I feel inside. I just come back from the haircutter, and as I was sitting in front of myself in the mirror, I was almost scared to see the same face as on the drawing, with pale skin and wrinkles of tiredness. Everybody around was tanned and relaxed.
I think I'm going to follow your advices as soon as today. Face myself, accept the obvious, deconstruct for a while. Work can wait. Thanks you.

Maybe You are this sad guy. There's a latent content in it, obviously... you only get what it shows... the mask, the manifest content.
Kisses.

Wow, that's really neat for a phone conversation sketch. Mine end up being scribbles.
