Someone impugned my Secret of Mana knowledge. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THAT IRRITATES ME ARRRRGHHAnyway, while I was checkin my Secret of Mana soundtrack that I ordered from Japan TOO YOU JERK ARR I'm okay. Anyway, I was checkin da soundtrack and it turns out that I DID know that Steel and Snare was associated with da Scorpion Army ta some degree, altho A Curious Happening was more their music.
Anyway, I just heard that track that plays when Karon takes ya across the Sea of Wonders to the Moon Palace, and I realized that, despite da fact that Secret of Mana is my favorite game of all time (and I'm not joking) I've never really done anything really nice and pretty for it.
So here ya go. Sprite and Boy off across the Sea of Wonders. I didn't put the Girl in here because I hate her intensely, as does my brother. We hated her so much that we argued over who'd hafta control her fer TWO SECONDS ta heal us. So she can rot and die fer all I care.
Anyway.
I love that Sprite. Fer da longest time I thought it was a girl. I think it was da hair that threw me off. Apparently it's actually a boy. That throws me so far off that I'm in orbit, so I know kinda think of it as an it. THANKS BRAIN WOO

Mmmm... I remember blissfully warm summer days, birds chirping and the sun shining, children swimming in the ocean and their parents doing the naughty while they're gone... All the while me and my best friend remained inside, pale as ghosts, playing SNES and Loving It, goddamnit!

Well a couple of comments here:
1. Really, congratulations on how your style ever keeps evolving. I love the way you can do stuff that doesn't looks like you just painted over a sketch anymore 
2. Boy does this brings memories.. when I say that kid I almost had flashbacks of the days when I used to play that game with my brothers. We played so much of it... makes me remember too the days when I played Seiken Densetsu 3, which, unfortunately, was mostly played in 1p, as my brothers really didn't want to play with me >.>
3. I also thought da Sprite was a girl for a long time.. altough I dunno, even now sometimes i think those sprites are from a genderless species
4. The sea looks somewhat funky, but other than that, very nice coloring/shadows/etc

My alldigital things usually look smoother (the Dance of DEATH picture and the Windows 95 in the Water Supply one) cause I can "ink" them without getting all paranoid about screwin up my original drawing. HURRHURR YAY FER ME
What's funky about da ocean? Is it those stars and moons and black and stuff? Cause those were there in da game originally.

Man I tried to played that game so many times. I ended up feeling depressed because I had no one to play with... but I got up to the Ice Palace! Then I got attacked and trapped in a corner by a hojillion enemies that lagged up the screen and aggggh it wasn't pretty.
I want to play it with one of my friends now. Hm...
