Dark Souls 2 Fan artHeavily influenced by the art of Mike Mignola.
I'm working on several personal pieces but I felt like taking a short break to do this fan art because the game is awesome and it was really fun to draw

This looks great! I'm not even a fan of Dark Souls but I adore this. And also, you nailed Mignola, a style that definitely fits the dark and oppressive atmosphere that permeates the Souls series. Good job!

I am a total newbie in darksouls ...and got depressed when 3 fat-like rats killed me but your fanart is gorgeous! and very interesting C: it's different from your usual artwork but I like the shading...totally gets the dark theme in "Dark Souls 2"

I want to say he did it in the early 90's. It was the first time I had seen Mignola's work but then I only really followed X-Men back then and was only vaguely aware of Hellboy till the first movie came out. Seeing the way he adapted Fritz Lieber's story in visual form is rather interesting and quite different from the Conanesque fantasy look that is more common.

Both, really, but the game more than Mignola, and I really love the way you captured its vibe here. Plus the Alonne Knight armor's one of my personal faves, so bonus points for that.

It's a favorite of mine too. Along with Alva's armor and the Syan set. There is a lot of really cool armors in this game and it was hard to choose which one to draw.

I'm playing a STR character with greatswords and lightning spears, but I think I would have more fun with a dex build. I love the curved and thrusting swords a lot
