I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett. I haven't read all the discworld books yet, but I plan to do so.
Vimes is probably my favorite character, and I think I'll do more fan art of him (or the Watch in general).

Sam Vimes is my favorite literature character of ALL TIME! But I'm confused about something. Is he supposed to have that scar? I know he got it when he had to pose as John Keel in "Nightwatch", but afterwards when he's back in his proper time, shouldn't the scar have gone away? Or should I just walk the extra feet to my bookshelves and just look it up myself? LOL.

It's been a while since I read it too... but if I recall correctly he got the scar during the Nightwatch events and he kept it afterward because he lived through those events (as in: it wasn't a dream, he physically was there). I may be wrong though, so if you look it up, please tell me

Him still keeping the scar after would fit, since PTerry wrote him going thru those events in "A" past but kinda/sorta not HIS past... This kind of Timetravel mish-mosh is one of the reasons I was determined NOT to like this book. But instead, it was so powerful that it made me decide that Sir Terry Pratchett is my top favorite author of ALL time!

He doesn't have the look, but Michael Hogan seems like he'd have a good voice for Vimes (Tigh from BSG, General Tullius from Skyrim).
