Well, what can I say? It has over a million views, and they're very well deserved. Lighting? perfect. Emotion? perfect. Position? perfect.
This image is pretty perfect, I particularly like the elegance of the dress, but the distress on her face. To me, it looks as if she has just done something drastically wrong (e.g. getting married to the wrong person). The 'destruction' and 'clutter' reflects this extraordinarily.
I'm not quite sure what you was trying to go for here, but it doesn't really focus on the person, sure I can feel her emotion slightly, but I can't be completely submerged in it.
The way the dress simply sticks to the wall as it's part of the destruction around her just adds to the effect which the picture has on the viewers.
Overall, this is an incredible piece of photography, and I'm completely in love with it, but that's the reason I'm only giving it 4 stars for impact.

There are no words to explain how beautiful this amazing photo is. With her depression, her signs of true sadness which only few can get in the most tragic circumstances, she really can reach under your skin. Her beauty is one of the first things you would notice after viewing this, although her sadness, her essence that whatever she wanted, it all went away, really catches your heart. The place she relaxes, with the noticeable debris of something clearly once grand, but now a near replica of a junkyard, she appears to not want to be near others as she knows everyone would not come find her there. The flows of her dress really add to this, no matter how minimal it appears in relevance to this, it drastically makes the photo much more depressing as it shows she is in a windy, cold place, the same as the inside of her heart feels. I sincerely feel bad for this innocent girl, for whatever could have been taken from her that removes a piece of her heart as well.

I would appreciate reading comments and critiques more if the people posting them used correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

I'm with you. Some people don't really care... Anyway, it's your opinion. If people don't like critiques without grammar, it's their bloody problem!!

I don't want to be mean in any way, but this isn't really a critique, it doesn't really describe the details of the art piece, the reaon behind the stars you gave it, it only talks about how you think it's nice-looking. As somebody previously said, i reccomend that you use the comments box. Thanks, just wanted to point that out.

I don't mean to be rude, but this "critique" would be much better suited as a comment. You haven't really added anything to the conversation besides saying you really like the piece in question.

I don't believe the replys made were designed to insult or "hate" on your opinion. Its lovely that you felt in a way inspired by the artist's work, but critiques are a form of constructive critisim based on the commenter's perspectives. they are designed to help an aritist see their work through other's eyes in all ways. Stating simple adoration is more of a comment or applause then it is a crituque.

There's no need to be so rude about it. You could politely say, "Well, I'm sorry, but I'm still insulted by it." Or something along those lines.
