Description
We have destroyed so much of Earth that sooner or later the irreparable damage will come back and affect our descendents deeply, and terribly. When is only a guess. After all, we can't live without nature as it is a part of us..There's a lot of symbolism in this! e.g. hands grabbing girl's leg are the ancestors who used up resources without thinking how'd it impact others, hair going from white to black bcz of stress/fear, dead geese with broken necks (a butcher technique) represent the damage we've done to animals, etc.C++ : D If u want to know what something means u can ask me or leave it up to ur interpretation. Part of my livestream I did weeks ago; finally posting it after polishing it.
I solemnly swear to draw more guys. Someday. Over the rainbow

This very much reminds me of an old fiction I used to write. A white haired girl in a plagued world... her name was Ulya.

I really like the symbolism of this piece. I also agree with the abuse of resources that we are doing today, hopefully we will move pass the greed and really develop cheap power. But as for nature, nature is very violent and destructive. In reality I feel we cannot live in it very long. This is why we build houses, farm food, make clothes, and etc. Again; but, nature is very beautiful, inspiring, and needs protection from us in isolated areas. You are an amazing artist thank you for sharing this piece. May I use it for Humanities 2 as an example of modern day anti-industrialization art?

If the rat is a representative of the plague, I dunno how accurate that is??? Since the bubonic plague was spread by black rats ( if I'm not mistaken ).

its an albino rat; they are usually more impaired than pigmented ones so they die easily. It shows the last of the race w/ the girl and how though they are weak they still survive from the "plague" surrounding them as well as representing the spread of the plague, does that make sense?
