The 'everything will be alright' side of me says it's just because I've been busy, except.. I haven't been busy up until the past 7 days. I have plenty of time to draw but I always opt to play games instead, there's very little motivation. The only thing keeping me in practice is life drawing at school.
The best answer I can get out of people when I ask them what I could possibly do is that I should try something different. The farthest I can get with that is thinking of drawing cars or mecha or anything mechanical... except I can't draw any of those for beans, making it completely uninteresting. (Mind you, learning 3D is somewhat fulfilling this, but not helping my creativity any)
I was also told by one person that only I could pull myself out of this rut. That's... rather depressing... especially when BECAUSE of this rut I have such low self esteem.
As you can see, it bothers me enough that I can blab on about it for ages.
So to answer your question, yes I am missing a muse. I don't know where the hell it went, or how to get it back. All I feel I can do is just keep plodding along.

ahh,...i thought i was the only one with a lack of inspiration lately...the only darn thing decent ive been doing its a avi from gaia super detailed, has a gift, but soon that will be finished, and i will again have my mind blank o________o*brain: empty*
What about writting your own storie?It can be very fun and creative like doing howls moving castle or chihiros journey
Or maybe...ever saw "Princess Tutu"? I dont know if you like "Swan lake" or "nutcracker" even ballet...but i can assure you that this serie sure is different from the crapy anime that we have nowadays (at least here....Mew Mew Power...
Btw, mekas are one of things that i always wanted to know how to draw, just like Evangelion...See? another good anime for u too watch!

I was talking to people about this last night and decided to do the 100 themes challenge, and also incorporate a character's story with it. Themes that don't fit in will be turned into random scribbles or Beyblade art probably xD;
But yeah.
Heard of Princess Tutu, that's about it. I haven't been watching much anime lately, not since I got all of FMA. I do read Ouran Host Club though
I've known about that mecha artist for a long time, he's awesome.

I adore the effect of having her -- I have randomly decided she's female -- come out of the shadows into the light. The tail disappears completely on my crappy screen. She has a good hydrodynamic shape -- it looks good and is sensible. The pensive look is very nice. Colourscheme and shading/highlighting is well done.
Though I'm not a biologist, my first thought was "doesn't all higher animals have four limbs", but I figger she's extraterrestial. I still haven't made up my mind whether the nice lights are for food or sex. Prolly a bit of both.
So in short: "Cutiepie" is the perfect oneword summary of her (and your) graces.
