Description
This was one of the many ancient Autobot leaders depicted in "Five Faces of Darkness" part 4. Originally referred to in the script as "Powerful Robot," the character has since been assigned the official name of Prima.

Visual designer Floro Dery was no longer working on the Transformers cartoon by season three, so when the time came to introduce new robot designs, shortcuts were frequently made. Prima is based on the robot design for Cyclonus (specifically, the final version of the character who appeared in The Transformers: the Movie). Many of the details were modified, but the overall shape of the robot form remains the same.
