Yeah! I push myself a little too hard sometimes (which I have to keep doing so I can be awesome someday!!!). Just got back from the USA, just got finished with the 24 hour comic challenge (awesome!) and now have to prep for real job... and back on to GeniFace issue 4!!!

Not really... I was so exhausted, it was so hard to concentrate on anything during that flight.
The 24hr comics day worked out well!! It was a great turnout and got a lot of work accomplished. Unfortunately, I didn't meet the quota, but maybe next time.
Will let you know when it is finished!

That is one of the draw backs of flying, which I have never done. And of the 24 hour comics all is well, me, I couldn't have done anything. It takes forever for good ideas to flow out of my head.

That's the point of 24 hour comics. It's to jump start the mind to make comic for the sake of comics. I had no idea what I was doing. Sometimes it was planned a panel at a time, sometimes I'd plan 2 thumbs in advance. Some of the other participants decided to layout their entire 24 pages before they started drawing them. Whatever works, and 4hr comics puts you on the spot. You learn so much about how to make comics work, as well as it gives you the time to dedicate yourself to one project. You can learn more in one 24 hour sessions rather than 24 1 hour sessions. You should totally give it a try one day!

If I did try the 24 hour comic it would probably seem to come out of some strange David Lynch-type world, with strange stuff that seems to serve no other purpose.
But you are right. I'd find out about myself as a comic book creator.

Japan is well. Spring is upon us and I can see the tidal wave of work upon the horizon. Otherwise, I've been working on the 4th issue of GenkiFace and a couple of other projects. 24 hour comic day is coming! I'm hoping to pull something off (on the 25th). You should look into doing the challenge or even get a small group together.

Japan's cool. It can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but it's great living abroad. It's also easier to study Japanese here rather than in Jersey.
