# About me

I am a merchant navy chief officer still working offshore all over the world. I had an interest in oil painting right since childhood and kept the skills building up learning from painting books and existing artwork. My job requires me to travel all over the world, and i said to myself why not capture a perfect subject with my camera and use that as reference for oil paintings???
I do just that and thatway i can keep my art totally original - my photo, my subject and my painting.
Since last year i have also started doing watercolor paintings and portraits. There is also some work which is totally my own imagination based on my own previous work.
