hi!
sorry for the delay but I haven't been on deviantart for a long time. I just read your comment about my linocut - o dios mio, I am sooo pleased nah, really, I'm glad that you, and your teacher liked it, cause I don't quite like this technique ( etching )and this is my first lino print. aaand honestly - I also like it
anyway - you ask about some woman like shape. I don't know if it's the woman in heavy clothing, but I'll reveal you the mystery my reference was a stock photo witch can be found here: [link] - so this is the Lino Lady.
and that's all I think
sorry again for my laziness in replying and sorry for my crappy English.
cheers from Poland!
moui.

Ah! Merci beaucoup. I don't like linocutting either, it's very tedious. Thanks for getting back, though!

Dear Fellow Deviant,
As you have kindly faved my St George and the Dragon Cross design, I ask you to cast your vote for me again between now and June 12th at [link] This is for all the marbles.
The jury will make the final selection for the half-million-dollar commission taking into consideration the public preference, so make sure you have your say!
I very much appreciate your help in achieving this coveted award.
THANK YOU!

Would you have any idea of sites where I can go to try to publish writing?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Aeziba In reply to TrivettJames [2009-03-19 17:42:43 +0000 UTC]
Unfortunately, no. Most serious publishing companies require a sent-in manuscript under a specific format, and the respective company should tell you what they expect. (Double-spaced, no italics, size font, etc.) You could look into Vantage Press, it's a self-publishing company. You send in a manuscript, they tell you how much it would cost to publish, and help you advertise. Careful, though, I've never done it myself so I can't vouch for them. I did send in the information, though, and they sent me a brown envelop for my manuscript along with booklets.
