Well, you just answered your second question yourself. As for the name, it can literally be anything. You could choose to call him by the human-given name if he's a refugee in D9, in which case they have ordinary names like Christopher. Or you can give him his homeworld-given name, which, as we know almost nothing about their origins, can be....anything. Even a number. Just make something up.

Well, here's the thing......their background was intentionally left vague by Blomkamp so that the viewer is as ignorant of the species as the human characters in the movie. So as for what they do, it's really up to your imagination. The humans in the movie believe them to live in a caste style society like ants or bees and they figure the population stranded on Earth are the workers. So most fans suspect there is probably a soldier class and some kind of ruling class as well. We know they have a symbiotic relationship with machinery and some of the concept art depicts them as miners, so they might be traveling the cosmos collecting minerals and resources, that's one possibility. so. you are one of the people I'd do this thing where I keep tabs on but I didn't watch. it was because I thought watching people was something special so I usually kept from doing it. then a long time ago, I'd forgotten a lot of the people I used to do that to because of another site I spent more time on. so I'd like to try to spend more time on this one by actually watching the people that I liked their stuff of and whatnot.
so rambling aside. I can say that, I've really liked your stuff. not sure how often, or what you do or other things because it's really not like I run into your stuff anymore. so I wanted to watch you because not only what you did, but how I like your style and all that jazz and I feel like not I'd like to support the people I liked to see stuff of by watching them now.
