I have had a profile for almost 6yrs (I had an old one but deactivated it because the email attached to it was always trying to be hacked.)
Basically no one has commented, except for the very few (like 3 people including you) or replied to my post and journals.
I never gave up because I love sharing my art. Even if it take forever to be seen.

You shouldn't give up

How do you get a paypal account? do you have to pay anything. i'm very stand-offish when it comes to online paying and getting paid online. I want to ask for a drawing to be done for my story but yet i'm in a very tight spot with money right now due to family matters. Any ideas?

WOW, 4 years of preparation then it's going to be amazing!  
I redid Elysium (my comic) many times before I settled with the current style, so I am gonna cheer you on! An advice would be that you'd play a little with your story; make a pilot version or even a short introduction of your characters in a funny skit comic. Makes people excited to see them in action in the final comic.  I would also love reading it when you release it!
