thanks for the fav (probably saying thanks twice, but I don't mind )

ah... le abortion (noticed it in your sig) I usually don't say anything about it, yet in Holland one can get an abortion at the age of 16, because that's when medically speaking someone's old enough to make choices for him/herself (but let's face it, most still can't, or don't know so mom and dad are involved) and - I've been to a clinic for education since I'm studying to become a GP's assistant, and it's always handy to know a little bit to inform patients - there's a real though screening whether one is allowed to undergo an abortion or not, and there's extra sexual education and even the possibility to place intra-uterine anti-conception.
But that's Holland and you're from the States. I'm just glad it's legal here... I'm not happy that the birth control pills will be skipped out of insurance policies, to save money. That means the rate of abortions will rise (as did a few years ago with the same measurement and the same result), with mucho thanks to the Dutch Government >.<

Sorry but I saw your signature and have to ask..Do you not think it right that a teen girl is going to die and she wants to have an abortion to save her life rather than kill herself for a guy that doesn't even love her. That is my question to all the people like you who want to "abolish" abortion. I believe it best to look at all sides of a situation and there is no clear side of right and wrong in abortion, so let us not "abolish" Abortion Let's Give the reasons it's ok and work to make those reasons heard.Ok??

Anne-Mary-Dolnar In reply to Kirara-SQUEE [2010-02-28 04:32:58 +0000 UTC]

I am speaking for the babies who were aborted because they were an "inconvienence" to their mothers. As in, their parents weren't ready for a child, or their mothers were 15 or younger or something. Not for babies who were created because of rape or incest, which is out of a woman's control, and she should not have to suffer the consequences of something she didn't take part in. Although I do feel sorry for them, because the babies themselves were innocent third parties in the situation. And if the mother's life is at stake, it's a real reason.
More babies are aborted each year because of inconvienence than anything, however, and these are the babies whose lives I am fighting to protect.
By the way, I don't really understand what you mean by the girl killing herself for a guy that doesn't love her. Please explain to me how having a baby, even when the mother's life is at stake(because I would hope that, if put in this situation, that I would do it) would be considered killing yourself? And most teen girls are not going to die of pregnancy unless complications are found early on, and they usually are.
And if you ARE a teenager, parents should be informed before you go get an abortion, because they are your legal guardians. I don't think it's right that kids can get medical procedures done without their parents ever finding out. That shouldn't be allowed until a woman is eighteen.

I understand where your coming from and I totally agree with you and the "Killing yourself" Is if a mother or whatever were to have the child and then die because she let the baby into the world. I'm sorry for up and out of the blue bringing up this conversation. I should have thought myself through first-.- Well maybe we should start off better. My name is Kelli and I live in Texas I dream of becoming a computer hardware engineer or a proffesional musision (I spelled that wrong sorry) I'm 13 years old. I believe in abstinence, I have 3 dogs, and I used to have one cat that I got from the pound. I still haven't had my first kiss but plan to soon with my new found boy friend, I for some reason always have to learn about something if it comes up because I am overly curious about almost everything. My parents got divorced when I was 3. My mom got married again when she moved to California, and she brought me there when I was 4. I lived there until the middle of 1st grade when I soon figured out my new step-dad was evil. I moved back to Texas with my dad. For half a year I went to Beasley. After that, in the second grade I went to Porter finding some friends that I thought I would have forever. In the fourth grade my dad started to date when my dad found true love we moved to a new house with my new step mom and two step sisters. (I forgot to mention that during this time my mom had two kids with my step dad my two half brothers Blake and Derrick had only seen me once before I had moved)Anyways when we moved I switched schools again to go to a school called Kimball I went there in the fifth and sixth grade. When I switched to middle school I met up with all my old friends, including a couple I couldn't even remember. This year I'm in the eighth grade. My mom got divorced with my old step dad and now she's with a guy named spencer. Last summer I went to my mom's new home in Washington state. She asked me to move back with her. I turned her down since I was just getting my life back together down in Texas. She wasn't hurt, just reluctant. Every time we talk she asks me to move with her. The last big thing that happened is my dad had a baby with my step mom and I have another little half brother named Michael. The last thing you really need to know about me is that I can see things that most people can't and most people don't believe in. My room has quite a few..Residents.. that talk to me a lot. If you have anymore questions about me feel free to ask.

well, then, Hello Kelli! That was a really long paragraph(and I read all of it, lol)
My name isn't really Annie, but if I go by my real name on any website I get this tense, creepy feeling in my stomach and quit the account imediately. Anne Mary Dolnar is kind of a mix up of my real name(like Voldemort. "I am Lord Voldemort, Tom Marvolo Riddle", except i'm not evil and I don't feel like killing muggles). Anyway, I live in Texas also. I'm one year older than you, and I'm not sure what my dream is, but when I get frustrated or bored or tired of being in the real world, I either write or make a floor plan of a house.. I believe in abstinence also, but I don't have a boyfriend. I promised myself that I wouldn't date in highschool, no matter how tempting, because so many relationships around me are ending and beginning and ending again, and everyone is starting to hate each other and the drama is too overwhelming, and I don't want to be in the center. I haven't had a first kiss either. I have a dog, who is unbelievably loud, and two cats, one of whom is fat and mean, the other is emo and sweet. If that makes any sense. My dad died eight years ago, and my little brother and I were devastated. But then, somehow our prayers were answered(no kidding- we prayed that if mother remarried, we would have sisters and a brother. Sure enough, we now have two older sisters and an older brother). Before my dad died though, he was a radio station DJ for a Christian station in Cayman, so we lived in paradise for a while, and i've always wanted to move back there. And I love babies; I just don't want any.
I don't know EXACTLY what you mean by "residents", but I talk to characters in stories(mine and others') while I'm sitting in bed, waiting to fall asleep(and they talk back, but only in my head). But that's, like, totaly different. XD that just makes me crazy for practically talking to nothing. Once again, I'm not sure what your residents are, but if they talk to you- like, REALLY talk to you, then that is SUPER cool. Ultra cool. Like, I-wish-I-was-you-sometimes cool.
You seem like a pretty awesome person to talk to
And it's pretty awesome if you read ALL of that XD I feel like I just told my life story. except for being born, and before cayman, and... oh nevermind. I'm gonna shut up now.

Haha Your really interesting too we should be fwends ^^ Ha, You rant the same way that I do, and I think we could learn a lot from each other in a way. Ha Thanks for the coolness thing but I find it cool that I found someone who knows what it's like to have the same sort of thing happening to them. People like us are sort of rare now-a-days. I love to read as you learned so yah I read your paragraph too^^. I kind of expected you to be at least a bit older because your so open with your feelings about abortion 8P. I can't remember if I told you but I am majorly akward at times and the computer takes out all of the akward silences in my life. other than that I'm very social. You sort of remind me of my friend Jocelyn. I'm curious where exactly do you live in Texas(Not trying to be stalkerish-.-) I live in Mesquite-Near Dallas Fort Worth if that helps.I look foward to hearing from you again.. so bye!! PS:Wait never mind bye^^
PPS: Now I remember Have you ever watched InuYasha?? Ok Bye^^

I live just west of houston,in the in-between-katy-and-houston area.
YES! I watch Inuyasha. and I read it. And I'm pretty much going through an all-out anime phase XD drawing it, reading it, watching it...
When the only animes i'm really into are Inuyasha, Love Hina, and my bro is trying to get me to watch Naruto. lol some phase I'm in.
I also like Harry Potter(best fiction book on earth), The Seer and the Sword, and although Eragon and Twilight aren't my favorites, they're alright too.
Mostly my thing about books is that they have to be written well and they can't be ALL scare and doom and gloom.

Thanks for the ! as for getting drawings on the computer, do you have a scanner, or at least access to one? Your local library might have one that you could use... that's when you take all your drawings and mass scan them like crazy! ^.^ From there, you should have no problem.

(because my grandma is here, i can't scan anything so if i go to the library i don't have to sneak around to scan things anymore )
