Hahaha. XD Yeah, I'm been thinking of doing something like that to get the creativity flowing again. Though, at the moment, I have been focusing on getting the next chapter of ZO written and posted (it's been over a year since I last updated. DX) Anything I can do to remain active though is helpful in my book. On the side, I either want to do a few gift arts for people I owe them to (whether they be pixel art related or not) OR possibly do some Undertale fanart. (The fandom hyped it up so much at first, I was hesitant to really get into it. But I finally decided to sit down and watch a playthrough the other day. Glad I finally got around to it. It's been on my to-do list for a while. Just, like I said, fandom scared me away at first. Things that are overly hyped at first glance usually do. Lol).

And I'd love to see your Undertale fanart if you decide to do it :> Was also reluctant to check out the game at first; I only played it after buying for my brother. (He now makes fun of my Undyne shirts. I regret nothing.)
I tend to skim the edges of fandoms, though, anyway. Just want to enjoy the fan creations without getting into discourse.

But anyways, I think I definitely will eventually get around to doing some Undertale fanart soon. The game punched me in the FEELS and I absolutely fell in love with Papyrus. SO FUCKING INNOCENT AND ADORABLE! Though, it was really hard to choose between any of the characters. They were all great. XD Undyne was probably a close second in my book when it came to fave characters. I couldn't get over just how much Papyrus breaks my heart though and makes me laugh. His ending is so sad if you kill everybody BUT him. Plus, in genocide route, Sans' last line of dialogue after you beat him KILLS me, it's so heartbreaking.
As for the fandom side of things, I'll probably do the same. Just try and skim it at best. I don't want to see or get involved in any of the drama I'm sure is out there. That can ruin a series for you, and after being so heavily involved in the Zim fandom and having that nearly happen on several occasions, I just don't want to risk it with anything I come to truly enjoy in the future. I always fear that going into new fandoms, hence why I don't jump around a lot when it comes to interests. Couldn't resist the allure of Undertale though, simply for the fact that it's an Indie RPG game. I have a weakness for those because they always tend to have such good stories and music behind them.
But anyways, enough of my rambling. I'm hoping I'll have some new works to post in the near future. I already have an idea for something I may want to draw as Undertale fanart, so we'll see what happens. :>

Aw yeah, Papyrus is great. Definitely one of my faves, too. I think he's responsible for some of the best moments in the game (or two of my favourites, at the very least). And geez, Undertale has some heartbreaking endings. Even the phone call after you befriend everyone (bar Asgore) kicks me in the gut. That slow piano music, and Undyne telling you to try to be happy for their sakes... eeegh.
Entering a fandom is a double-edged sword, for sure. It's sad, because supposedly we're all just trying to find others to celebrate a work with.

And I'm glad you like the pixel art. That Totodile quite literally took me the longest time to complete. XD So many blues and grays. My eyes were going dead by the time I finished him. Lol But it was still a fun pixel art to work on.
