Hey, I see you like ARPGs and stuff, I thought I'd let you know about Kijikaiakus!
It's a fun, small group that has a lot of cool events and activities! Your first Kiji is free, with no obligation to join in the group or anything, we also have a Discord if you wanted to chat with some cool people

I think it's really odd and strange and makes no sense whatsoever, but I don't judge people for what they like.
I actually did give one of those "object show" things an honest to goodness try because I was a tad curious about it, and was not impressed. I couldn't even sit through the first episode and rewatched Spirit again. I found it to be extremely lazy flash animation with no character development and nothing memorable or interesting to it. It seemed very childish and the dialog and premise were very uninteresting. I didn't like the voice acting either.
I adore animation. I wish I could animate, but don't have the skill or patience. I love home made animation, especially by people who put a lot of work and passion into it but I prefer rich storytelling and good character arcs, interesting world building and good designs.Β
The thing I don't like about the whole object show thing is the following it seems to have gotten. The fans seem extremely rude and all of my interactions have been getting attacked over not liking something. That is a huge way to push me away from something entirely.
Your art shows nice clean lines and colors and I would love to see you try other types of art. I could see you developing a pretty nice style if you branch out a bit.
If you were expecting an unfriendly reaction, I am never unfriendly with anybody unless they are rude to me first. That's not to say that I am incredibly blunt and to the point. That's an Aspergers thing, I suppose! I don't beat around the bush!
I must ask, though? What gave you the impression that I hated the BDFI thing? I haven't talked about it aside from passive confusion then irritation at a bitchy fan.

for your question, i asked because you considered it to be the "worse things you ever saw". now to clarify, BFDI S1E1 which i think you watched was made A DECADE AGO! the channel made 3 other seasons which have better quality thenΒ season 1, most notablyΒ season 2 episode 5 and season 3's only episode.
and for other types of art, well closest to that is my old drawings from like 2014 but they're also objects and you cant tell out anything. i do have a comic i make at school involving 3 stickfigures though. thanks for saying that i stick out! superscratchkat (a guy who does animation for bfb) helped me with a couple of assets so you should thank him as well.

Yeah I said that after I'd been harassed by some fan for a couple days. They noted me asking me for a free request, which I don't do. They have since been banned... anyway, when I turned it down, they started freaking out on me and sent me to the group and said it was "THE BEST THING EVER AND I SHOULD JUST DRAW IT!" and I refused again. They then offered 10 points... which is 10 cents and a refined SKETCH is $10 by itself for the work I put into stuff. I also explained that I am better at organic creatures and character designs, not objects. I even said I'd gladly do a commission and they just spammed me with absolute hate, and I finally went to the group to try to figure out what the actual heck it was and was still annoyed when asking in confusion what the fuck the object fandom actually was. Then people got super defensive and I was like "Oooookaaaayyy theeeennn."
To date, I have seen way worse (12 ounce mouse, squidbillies, ugh, I hate BOTH of those and they are on Adult Swim!), but I still didn't personally like it. I am a huge fan of fantasy and story, like Trollhunters. Trollhunters is on Netflix, and is absolutely brilliant. You could watch it if you get the chance! Here's not to say you have to watch or like it, but I personally adore it and have watched it through about 3 times now. xD
And yes people do improve as they learn, and it seems like something a lot of people like.

Try the free trial, if they still do that. It's long enough to see if it's worth it. They have some other fun shows as well. Also, Netflix will accept ANYTHING with at least somewhat of a following. I bet they would fund one of those object shows as a Netflix Original if they are popular enough. xD I mean they have Devilman Crybaby that is just... People love that steaming pile of trash full of horrendous voice acting, awful lazy animation, broken anatomy and ALL THE SHOCK IMAGERY! I am flat out not kidding when I say a woman's body splits in half, growing FREAKING TEETH WHERE HER BITS WOULD BE as her eyes bug out and turn into wiggly tendrils and her boobs become mouthed tentacles and BITE PEOPLE'S HEADS OFF WITH GRATUITOUS SPURTS OF BLOOD EVERYWHERE. It's BAD. Really, really, REALLY BAD. xD
Morbid curiosity hit and I now constantly crack jokes about a bad acid trip at a sex party. xDDD
