Yeah - it's going to be a collection of Oneshots. I'm hoping to put it out the week of Valentine's Day, but it's hard writing so completely brand new fics for it.

I'm OK... It's been busy and I am tired of trying to shovel myself out of my drive way every morning... But I'm OK. So hopefully you're doing OK, too. 

A project you say? I love projects (which is why I have so many of them and never seem to finish them... ) If you are interested in getting rid of that boredom, maybe we can collaborate. Think of something that you would like to do and we'll see what we can do together. How does that sound? Sometimes having someone else doing a project with you is what it takes for you to take that first step. 

In the meantime... hopefully you'll like the short film.

 Hahaha, yeah, I have a bunch of projects 'on the go' (which is really just code for I was too lazy to finish, but too stubborn to give up), trust me, I know what you mean.

 That sounds like an awesome idea! I'd never even considered that (for a reason I have no idea why [no, that's not true, I just assumed you were too good and wouldn't want to do a collab with a 'fanfic writer/fangirl']) but yeah, it could be really fun.

 I don't have any ideas at the moment, but maybe you do?

 If not, I can Note you when I get one?

Isn't it? We've had 3 days of severe wind warning, 1.5 days of sleet, freezing rain, wet snow and fog. And today was sunny at 5 degrees. The weather makes absolutely not sense!

I usually have anywhere between 4-6 projects on the go. And the thing is... you would never know about it. I don't talk about them because I think if I talk about them, I have to finish them. So I sit on a lot of projects that are half finished at one level or another. It's unfortunate to watch them pile up. But hey, I have a feeling we understand each other here.  

The funny thing is... very few people come up to me to ask for requests. No one asks me for gifts and only one guy has ever asked me if I do commissions. I must give off a "Don't bother me!" vibe unconsciously, I think...  (But that doesn't work, either. Tons of people have to literally tell others off when it comes to requests and commissions. I never have to worry about that!) Anyway... like what I said, the offer is open. The thing is, since most of the fandom you're in are TV based and I have been TV-less since 2000, we have some gaps between us. Like what I said, I don't have any great ideas yet. But if you do, let me know! Note, comment, whatever.

 Hahaha, well apperently you've been lucky on that front! I don't think you give off a 'don't bother me' vibe, maybe it's more of people assume that you're too busy, or their request wouldn't be good enough for you to take? Or, maybe they don't know if you take requests?

 Haha, yeah, that could also be another factor, since you've been TV-less for a while, maybe people think it'd be rude to ask a request from you of something you don't know - that's usually how it works, it what I've seen, anyway.

 But yes, I'll definitely let you know! I'm sure there's something we both equally know/not know where we could collab.

And today... we woke up to a glassy world because the sleet fell overnight and covered everything in a fine layer of ice. How did a mini-ice storm just form out of nowhere?!  

I've counted, I've got 4 confirmed "on the go" projects (two craft, two pictures.) I'm active in all of them. And some people have been waiting for ages. I feel bad, really. But it's darned tough when they pile up and I don't have the time. And when I lose the initial drive to get it done, that's it... we're done for.  

Well... you're one of my watchers, what do you think from your side of it? It's always intrigued me that some people are swamped with requests while some of us are relatively left in peace. I am not saying I am looking for more work to do, mind you. But that question has been plaguing me. Maybe you're right in the sense that I don't participate in big fandoms, people just can't find me. But then again... I don't feel a lot of attachment to big fandoms. You might say hiding under a rock really paid off!

Either way, let me know. You never know what kind of stuff I know about, even just peripherally. I mean... I know about Supernatural even if I don't watch it, right?

 Hahaha, yeah, I bet it has. No worries - there's some major fandoms I'm not part of that people give me that look of 'what?' when they find out. Hm, I don't know, I'd say maybe it's a combination of all?

 And yeah, that's true - although even a quick Google search nowadays will usually give you enough info to at least fudge that you know what you're talking about.

I have a plushie toy made after a game character that's an ice fairy. My housemates swear that anytime anyone touches her, the weather goes bad. It's the wrath of the ice fairy! (Now, mind you... I haven't touched her all year. The weather still goes spazzy from time to time. I guess it means I have to appease the ice fairy next to prevent the next snow storm!)  - that being said... we had blowing snow this morning. I'm tired of not being able to see  in front of me! 

I think I've added one more project to my to-do list. It's kinda crazy... but I am still hoping to get at least some of them done. One of the craft ones is -almost- done and should be complete later this week. I've got my fingers crossed! 

A quick Google search will give us a pretty good idea of what the series/show is about, but nothing beats actually watching the thing or having a die-hard fan right in front of you coming up with trivia and personal insight. That's the down-side of coming into a fandom peripherally. That's me, most of the time, though. I deal with most major fandoms in a peripheral way. That's both helpful and detrimental, I guess. Then again, I think I'm stuck this way anyway. There's no way I'll go back to watching TV after not having one for over 10 years!

 Thank-you for seeing it that way, however most other people I've said that too (friends and other non-family) have started freaking out, saying I'm crazy, they don't 'want that' from me, etc. It's usually turned out not so well, so I figured I'd play it safe, because I consider you a friend (even though we've only talked a handful of times) and I didn't want to jeopardize that.
