I'm currently in college. Just finished my second year of my license degree. I'm an English major. But yeah, now I'm taking some time for myself and for my drawings. And Assassin's Creed. Who can forget about that. XDDD

I’ve been good! Planning to enroll in college this fall so that’s both exciting and nerve wracking. Good for you though, that’s amazing and of course time for yourself is always important. I love Assassins Creed sooo much omg

How could I? We were both so enthralled my Michael's stories. ^^

I was just as nervous too. But at least, at the beginning, the teachers are super duper friendly and basically, their job is to get you used to the new rhythm. I'll be honest, this last semester had me spitting blood, metaphorically speaking, of course. X) I was so busy that I no longer had time to read, to draw, to play video-games, etc. 

I honestly started playing AC 1 this January. ^^ I only finished playing Revelations like, 3 weeks ago. And lemme tell you: DON'T ask me to choose between Ezio and Altaïr. XDDD

Oh for sure! Actually it was him that brought me back. He popped into my head this morning and I was like ‘huh, wonder how he’s doing’ and so I came back and now I’m trying to reconnect with some old pals

Oh boy! Good thing you’re having some extra time now then cause booo that does not sound fun. So long as the teachers are nice and I don’t turn out to be really bad at everything, I guess I can’t complain too much. Although I probably still will complain about stuff 😂

I actually haven’t played either of those yet! I moved out of the house where my brothers had gaming consoles and I don’t own one so I haven’t bought any new game in ages. Syndicate so far is my favorite. I love the time period, the characters, the story, and ugh it’s so good

Yeah, reconnecting with old pals is awesome. I personally hadn't talked to him in ages, at least for a full year. But I found him on instagram the other day, so yeah. XD

Yeah, I've had really cool teachers these past 2 years. One was from Winsconsin (if I recall correctly), and another one was from Dublin. ^^ But this last semester, in translation class, my teacher was awful. She was an old lady, super duper strict, but she was an amazing translator. 

Ohh man, you have to play them! Altaiïr's a bit of an arrogant prick in AC 1, but I absolutely love him in AC Revelations. And as for Ezio, Renaissance Italy was the best time period they could've ever chosen. Florence, Venice, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Forli, Roma...such beautiful cities filled with life and vibrant colors! 

I personally think you're going to LOVE Revelations. Ezio's an old dude already (he's 52), who decides to travel to Masyaf (Altaïr's home land) in search for wisdom available in a library that Altaïr sealed away beneath the stones of Masyaf castle. 5 keys are needed to open the door to the library, so he decides to follow the traces of the man Altaïr gave the keys to, Niccolo Polo (Marco Polo's dad), and his journey leads him to Constantinople/Istambul. The city has an overall golden hue that just looks so breathtaking. Honestly, I'd always take pics whenever I was to do a Leap of Faith, it's that beautiful. Within each key, there's a message. A memory, from Altaïr's life. As players, we get to experience 5 major points of Altaïr's life. And, tbh, I've never cried so hard at the ending of a game. It was so powerful, had such a powerful message, that I must've cried for at least 30 minutes straight.

Oooo Dublin! I so want to travel around the world and see all these cool places. Sucks about the mean lady though >.<. And I mean I get there are always some people you have to be strict with but ya know some people are just not nice for no reason

Oh my! That sounds amazing! I do love the scenery so much. Origins was beautiful and Odyssey looks stunning and that sounds amazing and honestly Assassins Creed just gives me life

Have you ever listened to Ezio's soundtrack? Or caught any glimpse of the games? 'Cause sure, 2009 - 2011 graphics aren't the best, but the story-telling is phenomenal. ^^

I’ve seen some stuff from the games! But I don’t know the story cause I don’t like knowing what’s going to happen until I play the games myself. And I think I’ve heard the soundtrack but it’s been a long time. I love good graphic games but honestly the story is the most important

AC II: Venice Rooftops  (This is the main OST of Venice. And it was always such a memorable moment, because the soundtrack perfectly captures the beauty and the liveliness of the city.)
AC II: Flight over Venice 1
AC II: Flight over Venice 2
AC Brotherhood: City of Rome
AC Brotherhood: the Brotherhood escapes  (Aka my favorite OST of Brotherhood. You hear it everytime you run away from guards, and it's EPIC. XD)
AC Revelations: main theme  (One thing you notice right off the bat is the change of tone in the music. My brother, upon playing Revelations, told me that he didn't like it as much because it wasn't as action-packed. That's the point. This isn't about Ezio avenging the death of his family. This is the story of Ezio trying to understand whether this whole fight against the Templars was necessary, and overall, if it's something worth dying for.)
AC Revelations: the road to Masyaf  (A brilliant OST in which Ezio reads out loud a letter to his sister, Claudia.)
AC Revelations: We walk Together  (The OST to a tragic moment in Altaïr's life that simply brings me to tears.)
AC Revelations: the Library  (This one is meaningful because of the nostalgic tune from AC 1.)
AC Revelations: the Revelation
AC Revelations: the Mentor's Return  (Another OST from one of Altaïr's memories.)
AC Revelations: Labored and Lost
AC Revelations: Enough for one life  (This OST will always bring me to tears because of the meaning behind it. This particular piece marks the end of Ezio's journey as an Assassin. "I have seen enough for one life. I have played my part.")
Assassin's Creed: Salvation of Forli  (THIS. This is the OST that immediately makes me sob like a baby. There are two major points in Ezio's life where this OST is played. "The bonfire speech" in AC II, where Ezio tells an angry crowd not to let anger cloud their judement, and for them to follow their own path. And...the most emotional moment of all: "Ezio's letter to Sofia", from AC Embers. This is a letter he wrote in his dying days to his wife, Sofia Sartor. As you see him taking his last breaths, he looks at her and his daughter, cracks a smile, then dies. As this happens, this OST begins to play, and you can hear Ezio reading his letter out loud. A letter that gives a conclusion to his life.)


=> these are a personal choice. I just love how perfectly these OST portray Ezio's emotions in that precise moment of his life. I can literally pin-point you the moments in which these OST are played, from how unique they are. Now, there are plenty more, but these are the ones I listen to on a loop, in my phone. ^^

I love to listen to them as I draw. I'm currently drawing old Ezio, and the soundtrack just makes me remember all those great moments spent with this character. It allows me to see my drawing on a different pov, you know? ^^

Oh yay! I can't wait to see!  But yes, I totally agree that it helps.  With writing too I like to listen to different kinds of music depending on the mood I'm trying to write for and it works.

I must say, I've already drawn Ezio before. His younger self, to commemorate his birthday (June 24th). And one thing I noticed then and now is the softness in his eyes. I picked a bit of a playful pose to use as reference, but his eyes always portray a certain gentleness that speaks way louder than words would ever do.
