I'm still making friends at AZ, but I usually get stuck behind a table and can't do anything else. If I go this year, I've already told people that I'm gonna show at the Vocaloid and One Piece photoshoots, so I've been making friends ahead of time, haha. Yeeesh, last year they had Yamaguchi Kappei I got his autograph and a video of him singing Sogeking~ this year they got Sanji/Carue XD

Hey yeah I remember seeing your table the first time I came in to set up. Yeah I was helping out my friend with her table since she helped give me a ride there. But yeah I thought you were Nami in which I feel bad about not taking a picture with you before cause I wanted to. But yeah I'm the same one as in the Animazement forum as well. Yeah my art here is old and I thank you for the compliment but I should at least do more at some point haha. Thanks for remembering and commenting on page.

Yeah, unfortunately, though I had an assistant with me...well, i got stuck at my own table most of the con... loved your Luffy costume though ^^ well, next time we're at the same con, we'll hafta make sure to get a picture together ^^

Actually I might be wrong but I think your mother came by the table and mentioned that to me and that confirmed it for sure. Which was funny cause then I felt a bit nervous to do so but I get weird sometimes like that I dunno haha. But yeah thanks for the compliment cause I feel proud hearing that since it was my first time actually making a costume. The most pride was the vest since I had to go from scratch and just video tutorials on how to make real vests haha. You got talent in making some costumes yourself haha.

Lol, I wouldn't be surprised. Aw, well, I can understand that. I'm a lot more outgoing online than I am in person, at least at first. It took me like 10 or more cons before I got comfortable enough to ask people for even just a picture of them (I've been doing conventions since like 2002, lol). Yeah, that vest is hard to make. I helped my friend make one for her Luffy costume...and though I did an okay job cutting it all out for her, honestly, when she put it together, it looked pretty bad (it didn't help any that I forgot to take into account that she had a chest, lol). I think we've redone that vest like 3 times now? Many thanks ^^ Actually, I can't sew at all, lol. And my sewing machine has been broken for over a year. My costumes tend to look fine from a distance...but when you get closer...*shakes head*

Haha yeah what I did was pin things down and then wear it. Though it hurt like hell every time the pins poked my skin haha. But hey at least you did a variety of costumes and that was like my second cosplay. I had a Vincent Valentine one but learned the hard way that having someone commission it was wasy too much for what I payed for and the crappy quality I get. But yeah making your own costumes is the best I say.

Ooh, ouch, I could never do that. I just do a lot of poor handstitching, and use a little glue, depending on it (like the costume I had on Saturday...that had a lot of things that were glued XD ). Aw, sucks that you lost out on money on it. My mother started me off on cosplay, her making them, than her just helping me, but I'm up to about 7-8 costumes I've made by myself, including ones for friends (though since I just added 4 a month ago, it's probably higher than that now). Even if they don't always turn out the best, I love making them and seeing the final result~!

Haha that's the spirit I love to see with cosplayers. Not this arrogant and snobby attitude that they are better than everyone. Luckly I haven't come accross anyone that acted that way cause they would have known straight away I don't play that type of tune haha. Man that's really cool that your mother was supportive about your hobby. I had to go all alone since I live alone as it is haha. But yeah keep that personality close to ya cause you'll go far and peace with your life.

Lol, ditto. I really hate the attitude some people have @_@ I've met a few, but moreso, it had to do with the people I was friends with at the time...it's been a looong time since I've had to deal with people like that. Lol, well, it has it's pros and cons. She's the one that got us into cosplay to begin with (I got her into manga, my big sis into anime), but at times, well, it's always a bit strange going with your mother to a convention (especially when I'm 22), but she goes because she wants to. Luckily, even when I finally move out,I'll be rooming with my friend who cosplays as Luffy, lol, so I'll always have at least 1 person to go along to cons with (I hate driving alone @_@ ). Haha, I can hope, anyways~
