# About me

I'm twenty years old and still quite a way from being a "grown-up." I believe both in God, and the theory of evolution. I'm incredibly lazy and hard to get to know. However, once I consider you a friend, I'm more loyal than any golden retriever. I suppose that I'm hard to get close to because I'm a listener, not a talker, and that makes people uncomfortable. Well, I'm working on it. I adore junk food, pomeranians, and Jane Austen novels. I plan on putting green wainscoting on my ceiling, and will dye myself blue with the help of the Kool-Aid Man next summer. When I'm able, I prefer to keep a nocturnal schedule, because it's easier for me to think, write, and draw when everyone else is asleep. I suppose this is because, while I find comfort in the fact that other people are nearby, I find even more comfort in knowing that there's little chance of anyone interrupting me. I can't function with people nearby; I'm fine spilling my thoughts and opinions onto paper when no one is nearby, and have them shown later, but I feel extremely vulnerable if someone is with me while I'm writing. I've yet to figure out why this is, yet I've come to accept it. As anyone who is still reading has surely noticed, my speech is much more eloquent and articulate when my words are coming from my fingers, rather than my clumsy tongue. So, I'm an oddball... Oh, well.
