I've heard the excuses before. Also, that woman is an idiot. For starters people don't get arrested for winning MMA fights, regardless of gender or the injuries unless there was a clear intent to murder. Secondly she failed to address whether or not the trans-woman fighter had been on hormones or not or for how long. It usually takes at least a year for the hormones to take full effect on physical performance. While it doesn't effect skill, it does effect overall performance. With marathon runners, one of the few sports men and women normally compete against each other, a pre-transitioned transwoman tended to come in about 3rd or so overall and typically among men, but after taking a year off to transition she was a lot slower, but averaged third amongst the female runners. Transmen are much the same. Alternatively since the trans-woman had spent her adult life training with males her tactics may have vastly differed from the typical female MMA fighter. I'd wish for more studies to be done with more details on the circumstances before drawing a conclusion. A single datapoint does not warrant a conclusion.

As for the rest of the video, it's the same generic sexists bullcrap that conservatives like to pull because they're cowards who are afraid of change.

What's wrong with just being female for you? Why do you have to insist on having a separate gender rather than just a unique personality? Gender means what organ is between your legs and there are only two possible organs for that location. A boy that doesn't act like a boy or a girl that doesn't act like a girl isn't a new gender, just a unique personality. I don't support forcing people into narrow gender roles, but leaving your traditional roles doesn't give you an imaginary gender. I don't hate the 69 gender movement because I don't like unique people, I hate it because it's unscientific.

It's not merely a matter of personality. I wish it was, but I have a strong physical feeling like my body doesn't match the blueprint in my mind. It's frustrating, but it's a very strong feeling that some days causes me emotional distress because of how strong it is. Also, despite your assertion it's unscientific, it actually is. Gender isn't merely genitals, but also a mixture of grey matter and hormones and transgender studies actually support that. And despite the distress it can cause, the money fixing my body's sex would cost, I wouldn't change my gender even if it were an option via some magic pill with no side effects to make me a girl, or boy for that matter. When I wish to be "normal" it's not from a magic pill to fit me into the gender binary but rather for my gender to be accepted as normal instead.

As for what's between my legs...there are already adapters to temporarily fix that, and medical science is well on it's way to making more permanent solutions courtesy of organ printers. Granted it's intended for creating hearts and lungs for transplants, but there's no reason it couldn't also be applied to creating genitals as well.

Professionals know this full well, but liberals are attempting to silence them because liberalism will encourage any movement no matter how cruel, destructive or illogical it is as long as it gets them more votes. In Canada, as well as some US states, so much as talking about why making up fake genders is bad is actually illegal. They only get around freedom of speech because the liberal mobs will attack any court that dares to challenge it. We are already living in the zombie apocalypse. Luckily, my state isn't stupid enough to give up freedom of speech to liberals and neither is the Federal government. Liberalism is like the bad parent that earns the kid's favor by giving him a mountain of candy rather than knowledge and discipline. Liberalism tells you that mad science is the answer to your depression when the only real answer is growing up and accepting reality. If you think that girls liking that stuff is rare you need to get out more. As for your body dismorphia theory, I assure you that is a separate condition. This is hardly something that I decided on a whim. I studied the various conditions and stats for years before coming to the conclusion that I am what I am. Modern science shows that gender is a bit more complex then merely what's between a person's legs. In fact where they once thought the male and female minds were different, as they continue more studies they find more and more often the features once thought typical of one gender are actually not uncommon in the other. Furthermore, sex change surgery shows a 94% satisfaction rate and a 90% reduction in suicides. I personally don't know any other condition that severe that can be cured with that degree of success. Furthermore the treatments for body dismorphia and gender dysphoria are quite different despite the apparent similarities between the two conditions. After all, not every trans person requires surgery, and in fact I know several who are happy with the right dose of hormones. If it was actually body dismorphia such treatments would hardly be effective. As for "mad science", being transgender is something that has historically existed for thousands of years. If there was an alternative that was remotely as effective I assure you it would be much more accepted and widespread since people are reluctant to accept anyone or anything outside of what they consider "normal". It's taken centuries of study and evidence for the scientific community to accept this because as much as american conservatives like to paint all scientists as puppets of the progressives and liberals, the truth is they actually tend to be more conservative when it comes to challenging long-held scientific beliefs and theories and don't change what's accepted without sufficient evidence.

I'd also love a citation about where trying to dispute modern gender theories is illegal because this is the first I've heard about it. I've heard of critics being protested or boo-ed off stages or campuses banning certain speakers (which is their right since unlike the government they aren't beholden to the US Constitution) but I have yet to hear of any state making it illegal, particularly considering in the US that would be political suicide. In the US it would be quite likely the opposite would be more successful in some states. In fact, in South Carolina I believe it was, they even had the audacity to regulate where one pees based on birth certificates. But ignoring science is the conservative way. I mean, the leader of the US conservatives thinks that climate change is a chinese hoax, when the rest of the world agrees it's a real thing. It's like the one thing the rest of the world has ever agreed upon yet american conservatives still refuse to accept reality. But that's fairly typical, conservatives don't like complexity or nuances. They prefer things to be simple, straightforward, easy to understand, because if you understand it you can control it and don't need to worry about it. But reality is never simple. It's complex and chaotic and that can be a intimidating to some people, but just because you want it to be simple, doesn't make it so.

And perhaps consider this, there are easily a half dozen naturally occurring hair colors, eye colors, skin pigments, nose sizes and shapes, eye sizes and shapes, even within the healthy "normal" section of the population. And then there are dozens, sometimes hundreds of abnormal, sometimes even unique variations. Given that the human body is varied in so many ways, what makes you think gender would be the only aspect of humans to only have two options?

You know, sex change surgery may have a high satisfaction rate, but most transgenders are trying to change from a boy to a girl or a girl to a boy. As in, from one thing that already exists to another. If you don't want to be a boy, I take it that means you want to just start sticking random things all over your body. If nature really wanted 69 genders, it would have just created them naturally. It creates hair and eye colors naturally, either by mutation like blue eyes or by situational advantage like dark skin. It may be hard to come up with a good reason why playing mad science with your body is a bad thing, but to me, it just seems like a bad trend with the kids fighting the order of society. Unless, it would be appropriate for me to say I feel like a unicorn and use lab-grown organs to give myself a horn and tail, start walking on all fours and getting angry at anyone who says I'm weird or refuses to call me a unicorn. Your bodies aren't toys, they were designed by God so that the traits of two people may be mixed and raised.

Actually I plan on being both. Although I have some degree of fluidity, my gender never quite seems to reach 100% male or 100% female unlike some other gender fluid individuals. Trans hermaphrodite would be the most scientifically accurate description, though some intersex people still take offense to the usage of hermaphrodite. I thought my username might have given that away, though not all who RP as Chakats are like me I know there are at least one or two others who are.

Also, nature has no will and humans have been giving nature the middle finger since the first human ancestor figured out how to use tools. We have been manipulating nature for thousands of years, bent forces of nature to our whim, dammed up rivers, razed forests, transplanted animals to locals never intended to house them, we have flown beyond the reach of nature into space, we have harnessed chemical reactions identical to those of the sun as weapons of mass destruction, but when it comes to giving humans a little modification, or in my case an upgrade, suddenly you get squeamish about it? And given humanity's other crimes against nature and each other, I think what I want is barely a blip on god's radar. And I say, if you wanna be a unicorn, be a unicorn my friend.

The fat acceptance movement hasn't tried outlawing being skinny, it just encourages women to not be unhealthily skinny as often portrayed in magazines and movies. Women in the "healthy" weight range are often accused of being fat by the more ignorant and childish men. As for the rape one, that was a handful of radical feminists, most often from the second wave feminists I believe and usually stems from biological misunderstandings about how arousal in men, not that men are so innocent of this type of ignorance themselves e.g. "Your mouth says no but your body/wet [slang for vagina] says otherwise", some ignorant feminists have on occasion believed the same thing about erections even though both types of arousal can be induced from physical stimulation regardless of what the person wants or feels like doing.
