I haven't read it. But knowing you had a "discussion" with him. He may have done it to you or Senior Cornholio, I remember SC mentioning, that Mykan will remake End of Ends to spite him, including all of us.
I guess SC contacted him, due to how appalling My Brave Pony is, and confronted him on it's subject matters, he told me, even he's having a hard time reconstructing the fic.

I have seen deconstructions, a reconstruction, parodies,msts and even a sincere fanfic for SM, but never a rational fic, I get that the series is ...ugh, but even Twilight got a rational fic...
no matter how difficult it seems....

Yeah you are right, regardless it's up to you to build the type of person you are at the end of the day, his situation is not as unfortunate as he think it is. I should know I have less privileges than him, yet he complains as if he has it so bad. At first I find it creepy how he can stalk people like that, but now I find it funny and petty.

So yeah, new member of the "Mykan Dislike" group over here. Kinda. Always hated the guy because of his treatment of Twilight. You know what I'm talking about.

Not to be nosy, but you don't seem like the type of guy who got into a "discussion" with him. Base on experience I'm guessing he harassed you, until he wore out your mind.

It DID start out that way. Then the more I dug into his fanfic history, the more it made my stomach churn. I mean, I was already made sick to my stomach due to a certain death in Starfleet, but some of the stuff I've seen in his other fics is beyond disturbing.

I know how you feel, I did the same thing, and telling him the consequences of his disturbing mentality is like talking to a brick wall. I gave up reading his "highly cerebral" fanfics when it became clear that my soul can't handle the toxins. I do however find it funny, how he can publicly harass people who disagree with him, believing himself to be a lone crusader of "his rights." Failing to realize, it only makes him look more of a laughingstock.
I await to see the new chapter of your reconstruction of My Brave Pony. You have a lot of things to work on....

I'll say. Though I'll admit, I've been having a strong case of Writer's Block lately regarding how I wanna advance the plot.
And yeah. I'll admit, it's easier to defy him than to try and be friends with him. I even typed as Twilight Sparkle herself to tell him off. He yawned at it, but I think I made my point clear.

Maybe you'll look back at it and laugh. From what I gather, Mykan can do it and be what he wants if he tries. He's not a total prisoner of his circumstance, he just doesn't want to do it and makes excuses as if he doesn't have control over some of his situations. I'm surprised Twilight Sparkle didn't annoy him.
Why don't you go talk to the rest LB and Scorpio, they might help you out, since they're seasoned deconstructors, or try networking with some other writers. Maybe the tutorial I'm writing can help you out, I'm about to finish part one by this week or two. www.fimfiction.net/blog/755050…
Also try watching/listening to some TED Talks maybe you'll find inspiration for your theme and character motivations there. In fact, I figured out how to deconstruct Mykan's philosophies and plotting while listening to their talks while drawing. A word of advice though, never read the comment section, or if you want, I suggest you finish the talk before making a conclusion.
