I wanted to get Canon 70D but I was reading how gear doesnt really affect the photo. Its how the photographer takes the photo.
So...I decided to get a cheaper model, hone my skills then decide to buy a better one.

yeah its true. gear doesnt really affect the photo. even if it was the best camera, you still wont be able to take a "good" photo without skills. but how i think is that. in my lifetime, im probably going to have only 1 camera. (at least for now) then why not use the best and use it to its fullest abilities, rather than buy a cheap one that i use only for a while then buy a more expensive one. I was also looking for a high resolution camera, so I decided on the semi-pro one.Β

Semi-pro eh, good idea too. Thought of getting one, but I'm still a student so cost has to be a bit lower.
Plus I have to buy an extra lens and lens hood + UV filter as well...
So the total amount of buying...lets say a Canon 600D, can already amount to the same price of a Canon 60D with the lens kit.
Budget hurts, but my brother has a Canon 60D and he might upgrade to Canon 5D Mark II in the future, so the 60D might be passed down to me.
Good having siblings who already have cameras haha~
