Haha, actually, no, you haven't mentioned that you're trying to write a novel. What genre is it? o3o I'm in a similar situation except that I'm more just trying to get back into writing. And once I get the knack of it back, I'll get working on a novel.

LOL well, there it is. Its an amalgamation of sci-fi and young adult fiction, I suppose. Its only maybe 5 chapters written, so I've nothing really concrete yet. And I know what you mean. I wrote the bulk of the story during the christmas break, and now I just can't get into writing it again. I think I might wait until summertime just because I know I'll have the time. I read some of your work and it's fantastic. I'm glad you'll be writing again soon!

Mm... at the moment I'm using short stories to try and write more but I only write when I feel like it so, not really helping that much, haha. Been thinking of trying out script writing instead, but I don't have enough experience with scripts so that's a bit of a problem too. Anyways... I'll stop rambling now haha. What about you? LOL, I showed one of my friends a little bit of a script I tried writing and straight away she felt like it was more like a novel than a script! Sigh. But yeah, it's really hard to gauge how much detail to put in. T^T
Hahahaha, okay. Ah yeah, that's quite true - like writing a journal, I guess. I don't know, some people find writing really relaxing? While others find that they put their entire soul into what they write, so it's really draining and takes a lot more effort. I'm more or less in the latter, so that's probably why I find it hard to start writing again, even if it's just a little each day. =.="
They always say that keeping a notebook with you all the time helps though.

Mmm, now that i'm finally done school for the summer i'm going to write my brains out! I wish I had the talent to write a script, but I feel like with a script you have a lot less space to write and you have to be super descriptive! I'm sure you could do it perfectly. Post the script you wrote as it is, get some other opinions on it too. I find that hearing a bunch of opinions as opposed to just one or two cements my own.
mmhm! I haven't written in so long. I don't know, I think when I get caught up in an idea I can't stop, but as soon as someone says 'oh, your story reminds me of this story!' I can't write anymore. Sigh, we suck. LOL
