I'm curious about your seeming to cause Google Deep Dream to 'find' images that I can't see in the two image inputs
like today's spider face looking like a tarantula closeup with many eyes.

I'm sorry, I honestly don't know what you are talking about?

Well, I'm sure I saw more imagery in the result of one of y'r Google Deep Dreams
[or deep style or thin style? I couldn't tell because I was looking at the daily results which seem to be selected by number of 'likes']
than was in either of the input images. There was what looked like an arachnid 'face' in the output.
So if this wasn't something you did, I guess Google did it.
Thanks for responding.
I don't suppose you do mail art. If you do, we could trade snail mail.
Y'r [new] ol' Bud,
Fike

ooooh, on Deep Dream Generator. That one was me being sneaky. The spider IS in the source image, but it's set to very low opacity, so you have to look very closely to see it. The algorithms still pick up on it, though, and make it much more apparent.

NICE! You've found a way to show how the algorithms [or incomprehensible neural net bolloxing?] can be revealed as different than what a real, visually perceiving human would do.
Loving it!

Fike

OMG where can i get one of my sculpts made as a figure?

CreatureSH In reply to koriecull [2012-04-08 18:04:09 +0000 UTC]
Hm, unfortunately, it's not really something that is established as a business... It's more of a matter of dedicated hobbyists hand-crafting each individual figure, usually by heavily modifying retail products. Some customizers accept commissions, but it would always be a hand-made imitation of your work.
However! If you're looking for a non-articulated, real-life "printout" of a 3D-sculpt, [link] might be a good place to check.

My pleasure. It appears that you have really good taste... Or at least bad taste comparable to my own.
And thank you very much for the watchback, too!
