Things have been kind of crazy. (Also, I got sucked into NaNo, so...)

I kind of have a boyfriend now? It's weird because I'm still asexual and he's homosexual and we still send sweet little text to each other and virtually snuggle and it's really cute because he has like a phobia of big breast and then there's ME.

I've been really writing a lot and editing even more lately and staunchly avoiding all things political because fuck government on the whole, seriously.

I'm really sorry I haven't been in contact more. (I also want to point out that I love your OC and he sounds amazing and I got distracted by trying to think of how I could use the questionaire but Leo doesn't really fit in that since he's the main character in all my Originals and slightly different in each one. Gah, that derailed fast.)

I dunno, 2016 was just a crap year, I think, for everybody. OH GAWD don't even get me started on politics. I can't even. Trump. Can't. Moving on...

(Gosh, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy Klaxon!! I've been working on him a lot lately, trying to give him his own identity and life, so that means a lot to me. But oooooh, you should totally use the questionnaire for your Leo fella! I found the questions really made me work for it, got me to look at Klaxon in different ways, by answering questions I didn't expect. It was a challenge, but that's the point of it. A friend of mine pointed it out, because she was gonna do it with her novel characters: pick one moment in Leo's timeline and answer from there. Obviously in each area he'll reply differently, have had different experiences, and it's a great way to focus on them. I've been thinking of re-doing the questionnaire when Klaxon is older, after he goes through his big reveal and "grows up"...)

21K in and 6K behind, so. But I've written SOMETHING every single day this month, even if it wasn't much.

Hehe~ Thank you! It's weird and I'm still getting used to it because it's just like we're very best friends and it's hard to remember the whole 'boyfriend\relationship' thing. (Which I guess is how it's supposed to be, right?)

I've got about two thousand little clips and no real SCENES (don't even say the word 'chapter' to me.) and I'd more than happy to share some of them with you. Mostly original stuff. I'm bound and determined to get SOMEWHERE with my originals since I put off fanfic for this entire year for it. But one reviewer was cute and it inspired me to put out 2K to finish and new chapter for my Naruto fic. I did two other littl fanfic-y things this year, but that's literally the extent of it. Everything else has been TenLeo all the way.

Don't say '2016 can't get worse'! The universe has apparently been taking that as a challenge. Politics, people, ugh. I can't. Just-- *siiiigh* NaNoWriMo on FB has been crazy. It's just insane. I've been posting little snippets of what I've written every day and one particular excerpt netted me THIRTY COMMENTS, not a single one of which was less than absolutely GLOWING. Leo has a fan following now~! I've never gotten thirty reviews in a day on any fic I've ever posted in my life and then this little, like, 1K thing just blew up and I'm so proud and happy about it I could explode.

Ooh hey, that's awesome! Even if you don't meet the word count, it's still a huge achievement to write every single day, wow. That's something I've never managed to do, either because of general life obligations, or my bloody mood/depression. GO YOU!! I'm proud of you! So now that November is almost over, how did you do overall with NaNoWriMo?

Aww, yeah, that's even better! They always say it's best to fall in love with your best friend. I think that's how I'd define a soulmate, too, because you never wanna be outside their company, you know? I'm happy for you guys! Though I understand if it still feels strange. Everything takes time.

Ahh, I feel your pain there. That's actually how my writing's been going these past few months. I can churn out some dialogue, maybe a little scenario to set it up, but no scenes come together. So yeah, I can barely get down a short story let along a lengthy, developed chapter, ugh. But it's still great to hear you're diligently working on your originals, and awesome that your fanfic fans managed to bring you back to Naruto. I mean, having readers in fanfics is a wonderful feeling, but originals are more YOU, right? Something you can give your all to, from characters to world building. I'd love to read more about it, and the TenLeo ship~

Yeah, 2016. What can I say? Other than it feels like it went by really fast, and yet it was really horrible. (O_o) I'm just itching to get through December so we can get it over with. (Not gonna say the new year will be any better, but there's always hope.) Plus people are always rotten shopping during the holidays, especially to the retail clerks.

Oh whoa, that's outstanding! I don't think a single full story I've ever written has gotten thirty comments, it's incredible you've gotten mad-amounts of love on one scene and your very own fan following! Good for you!! You should be proud and happy because that's WOW!! But understandable since you're a excellent writer!! So what was going on in that scene? Was it romance or tragedy, or...?

Stash is like your private part of deviantART. Honestly, I don't find too many people click links and go into your Stash; I have most of Klaxon's info stored there, written up back in May, and they've naught but 5-12 hits per page. Personally, I would suggest uploading them as Literature Deviations. Even if they're short snippets, they'll just read like Flash Fiction.

I failed. I also had a ten-day dry spell after sharing that with you. Ironically, the very first day after NaNo, on December first, I managed to write 7k+ for the day. *sweatdrop* Ah, my luck.

Yes! You understand it exactly! I love writing fanfic, but the originals are just more... intimate. (Also, Yaaaay! On the TenLeo, I've been thinking of sharing my snippets on here like I do with my FB group.)

2016 feels like it's flown by. I was just thinking it feels like, maybe a month ago when Zo and I were trading christmas pics and now HERE IT IS AGAIN. Jesus, where did the days go? I must have misplaced them somewhere and now I can't find them.
I'm very interested in being done with the cold part of the year already. I hate the bitter parts of winter where it gets too cold to even write because my fingers can't take it. Bleh.

The scene in question is very... philosophical, and it just wrenchingly, viscerally lays out Leo's pain in the open. I'll shareee~! It will be my first share-snippet!

Oh, that's alright. At least NaNoWri month was something else to spur you on, because writing 7k words, even after it ended, it quite a huge accomplishment. I mean seriously, most of us writers are relieved to just get near 1k a day. Good for you!

Ahh, but good-weird is still good! 

Well, I won't lie, it's tough getting noticed here on deviantART as a writer. BUT! It's got it's own tight-knit writerly community and fanfic authors, and it's always a boost for networking. If you find folks are interested in your TenLeo snippets, you can get them to follow you on the FB community, too. Never know until you try! Plus, I'd love to check 'em out, myself.

2016 was a peculiar bugger. It felt like this year went by fast, but then again most of it SUCKED so in that sense it felt endless. I'm just glad to get it over and done with. Here's hoping 2017 is brighter, productive, and more exciting, amen! XD Haha, I can tell I'm getting older, too, because I used to adore cold weather, and even though I still prefer it over the heat of summer (also prefer the fashion), I've noticed I can't get by in extreme chills anymore, not like I used to. Yeah, that part where your fingers freeze up over the keyboard—that's frustrating! Spend more time breathing against my curled mitts than actually typing.

My, that sounds deep and provocative, which explains the appeal. People love too get into the characters head so intimately, you know?

If you're looking for lots of llamas and page-views, the best way to get them is to give llamas. Most people operate on the 'get a llama, give a llama' so giving them is the best way to get page-views if you're a visual artist.
