Favorite writers: Dean Koontz is one of my first, and most enduring, loves. Loved him since before he had hair (again).

Other Interests: Music festivals, reading, writing, making kick-ass fried apple pies. (Srsly. Kick. ASS.)

# About me

I started painting about 2 1/2 years ago, with watercolors, and have now moved on to oils on both canvas, and wood.
I'll go through periods where I paint something every day, and then sometimes I won't do anything for a month. After almost 3 years, I've finally gotten to a point where I like most of the things I paint.
Most of the time. =)
I also dabble in clay sculptures. But they are few and VERY far between.
I'm self-taught, but am seriously thinking about saving up for an art class. Because I know shite about composition. =)
But I enjoy it. =)
Oh, and a few times a month I write a blog post.
I'm a mom, and have 3 sons. One I gave birth to, the other two were birthed by other mamas. =)
I love color, and cookies, music, and cats, and reading Berenstein Bears books to my youngest son.
I believe in finding beauty EVERYWHERE.
