1. Have you ever considered doing some deviations based on the 19th or 18th Centuries (or even the 17th or 16th Centuries, if not before), rather than just the 1950s?
2. You can take some cues from smokeysis's deviation series "Stellas's New Book" (or from your own "Alice is necklaced" deviation) on how you could write better Stepfordization pins. I find it more interesting- and somewhat more realistic- if a woman is Stepfordized by being subconsciously seduced into accepting the role of a submissive housewife rather than having her mind overridden by hypnosis, brainwashing, or more overt mind-control. As a bonus, the subconscious seduction method should theoretically continue working even if the catalyst of the Stepfordization is deactivated or removed.
3. Try making a deviation in which the Stepfordization is beginning to fail after 5 years, and the woman either becomes more rebellious (clinging to a past of liberation she now barely remembers, and is quickly forgetting) or has been so thoroughly subconsciously seduced that removing the mind control has no effect on her behavior.

In all seriousness, I use a lot of specific methods for reminding myself that I have the power to delve less or further into these fantasies-- the power, or lack thereof, is ours to control. To be at the mercy of our desires is a choice, and that's what I choose.
