Yo, thanks for dropping by the Oztaku stall at Melbourne supanova.
I like the tone of your work, its a little darker than the usual sunshine and sparkles I bump into. You've got a good amount of detail rocking on too. You suffer from some of the same issues I do too: you seem to get distracted by [evil gothic] butterflies before you can complete a full idea. More 'completed' pieces would be worth the effort for the practice.
Regardless, drop by our stall again, and I will keep an eye on your dA in the meantime.

Heh, I'm glad you like it. It tends to freak out the relatives at bit when they come over and ask to see my stuff, which is always amusing. And I love details.. also I try to complete things, I just never get around to it lol. Stupid butterflies getting in the way.. we should go butterfly hunting together.

Part of the stall thing is to expand the reach of Oztaku: both as a community and as an influence. In that sense, I decided to take the vanguard and actually follow up rather than just say 'hey lol check out the forums guiyzs'.
Yeah, you'll bump into that, unfortunately. However, at least for the moment, don't worry too much. So long as you don't get caught up in it all it ends up fine... I ended up sort of not too bad really.
I'll be at manifest, and at doujicon, which runs at the same time as Minifest [check out [link] ]. You might enjoy that, since it is a lot more focused on comics and art, and in general there are plenty of darker styles.
