Lol ... this is England .. we have no summer. But luckily I'm going to Istanbul for a month to see my brother in July ... So I'm looking forward to that. Also got my little niece coming to stay with me tomorrow, she's two and I can't wait to watch the Jungle Book with her ... Apart from that it's the usual.... bars, books, and barclay's!!! Aww it's great you'll get to spend time with your niece and the Jungle Book is a great movie! I love Disney films. They pretty much were my childhood (not that I don't watch Disney movies still haha xD)
Truthfully, nothing much has been going on with my life really apart from the usual school, work, and resting at home. I've been trying to get more hours at work, but I have a feeling I'm not going to be getting them so I think I'm going to start looking for a new job. Also, I'm getting ready for my linguistics class that starts on Monday. I have to learn how far my mom's school is from the building my class is in because I won't have a parking pass over the month. I keep hoping it won't be as far as I think it's going to be.

Well it's been pretty appalling so far ... only had one hot weekend this year!!! You're a baby when it comes to the cold??? .... lol never heard it put like that before...

Yeah I don't know what it is about Disney's ... I'm pretty much a guy's sort of guy .. but even though I'm over twenty now I just can't help but sneak in the occasional Disney when no one's looking. My mate said that she watched Tangled and it was amazing, anyway, watched it not long ago ... Loved it! If my brothers knew that they would rip the shi* out of me.

Sounds constructive ... sure by the time your twenty five it will al be worth it. What are going to do for fun??? Or are you just going to work yourself hard and retire young??

With any luck it will be close ... I was lucky to live on Campus my first year... basically fall out of bed and I landed in class.

Oh goodness, I hope it gets better there. And yeah, a baby when it comes to the cold heehee It's a phrase that my mom and I use a lot because it's true. I feel like when we are freezing everyone else is comfortable then when everyone is dying from the heat that's when we feel the temperature is perfect.

It's probably because Disney is made for everyone xD There are jokes that the kids are going to get and then jokes that the adults will appreciate as well. And I love Tangled! That was such a good movie. I loved the story that they came up with from the original story. It was very cute.

Hopefully all of the work will be worth it. I am excited to become a teacher (even though they don't get paid all that much)... Fun... I sometimes go out with friends and chill with them, but for the most part I sort of just chill at home. A good potion of my friends are never at home when I have free time and since I don't live on campus I don't know too many people that live at my school (I know them but don't really /know/ them). My schedule doesn't really allow for too much down time. And I would love to retire early, but I'm not sure how the future is going to work out just yet.

The class is about 15 minutes from the school. It's not that bad really unless it's raining... Then I get completely soaked xD And it's lucky that your dorm was close to your classes. I wish it didn't cost so much money to live on campus or I gladly would, but at the moment it is MUCH cheaper to live at home and drive.

It's true what you say about Disney's for everyone, it must be extremely difficult to cater for both parents and kids. Yeah Tangled was great, the horse killed me. Favourite all time Disney characters are Gaston, and Shere Khan.

Well it's great that you know what you want to do. Of course teachers are underpaid and undervalued, but at least your profession is something that is genuinely important, and if your as eager as you are with your poetry, I'm sure you'll be very good at it.

Nothing wrong with chilling out at home. I'll tell you what, living on campus has its perks but the more you see people, the more drama that comes with it. A lot of the people that lived at my dorms drove me nuts, probably better that your out of the way. Make a few acquaintances and meet every now and then to see a show, or movie or something, and then you get to home. All the perks of friendships with none of the hassle, like you said, you rarely get to know people properly anyway.

Well doing things cheaply is the motto of any student worth his soul ... the first year is always just a formality, you never know what might happen by the second, make a few friends, rooms become available on the cheap, last minute drop outs and all that, you could be anywhere!! ... you could be a philosopher in three years time!!
