That's actually what I always said. It really is a shame, because if that hadn't happened they probably would have started writing more background characters into the show. And it really shouldn't have happened considering we've hat some derped characters before in cartoons. Like Ed from Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

I don't really think "forced" is the right word, but I suppose that's okay. I guess you got a lot of free line art then. :/

I think, "I didn't have the time to do something that I thought I would so I'll be incapable of doing it due to my inability to make time for it" would be sufficient.

Having a massive breakdown due to post partum anxiety and hallucinations brought on by a extreme lack of sleep because of a near-death experience that my baby went through, with the added burden of my father-in-law getting a diagnosis of a cancer that would kill him not but 3 months later, and trying to take care of my newborn child by myself while having said breakdown because my husband was utterly distraught by his own lack of sleep due to working overnights and his concern over his father's health resulted in my rethinking the whole "let's color over 100 images that I couldn't even motivate people to finish".

But if you'd read my journal in which I apologize profusely about the situation, you might have seen that I didn't use the word "forced" at that point in time.

I do now - because for the sake of my own sanity, I was forced to make that choice. Few people were upset by it. I'm sorry if you were.

I also mention that anyone who did do art was more than welcome to color it themselves, or if anyone so wished, could take over for me and do the project as well. I didn't "receive" any line art, as much as a bunch of artists drew some pokemon (in general, ones they liked!) - there was no personalization required, so I don't feel as though I cheated anyone into "giving" me artwork.

Real life comes before art projects. Sorry.

Never said I was upset. Just said "forced" is a bad word to use. I think "chose" would've been better.

Regardless if it's a good reason, which it is, you still chose to put it on the side.

My grandma was recently diagnosed with cancer too. Currently visiting her myself! I hope he gets better. Good luck to you and your family with your struggles as well. Sorry I don't keep up with your journals, I'm not following you so I don't get regular updates. I was specifically just wondering if you had, or were going to complete it. Thanks for your concise answer.
