# About me

Hi! We're a British amateur cosplay group based around the UK! It all started when a group of us went to MCM Midlands Expo in February 2009 - it was, for some of us, the first time we'd cosplayed and for most of us, our first convention. A few weeks later we decided to form a cosplay group, and after much debate we called ourselves Evil Cookies Cosplay Group, and on the 17th March we started a deviantART account and started! For the next few months, we went shopping, bowling, to the park, to school, the cinema, anywhere we could find, in cosplay. Unfortunately, in July/August a few members of the group weren't getting along so they decided to quit, causing much upset and quite a decrease in size! But eight of us remained and believe us, we're going to cosplay like there's no tomorrow!!
We attend conventions, meets and just cosplay whenever we can. Take a look at our gallery, and if you like it, watch and support us because we're getting better all the time ^^

Unfortunately not! I have tons of exams to get through ;A; I would've come otherwise! I'm also thinking of going to some meetups around birmingham but I'm a little stuck on finding people to cosplay with! >o< (I literally have 4 months of holidays after all the exams are done :O (Eek) )

Oh goodness, thank you so much! When I make big coats, I like to use this Simplicity pattern: [link]
It has to be altered of course, because it's not quite the same. But if you ignore the bottom part of the jacket on the pattern, and instead lengthen the pattern pieces downwards and slightly outwards, it gives you a lovely coat shape which is perfect for Denmark/Sweden/Austria etc.
The collar's also slightly different and I feel really awful, because I made it about 2 years ago and I can't remember exactly what I did. But the best thing to do is look for a pattern with a similar collar and fit it to the coat.
I hoped this helped a little bit, and if you need me to explain anything else I'm perfectly happy to :) (Smile)
