Hello ~ I am an artist living in Tasmania, Australia. You know, that little island off the south-east corner. I am lucky to live in such an amazingly beautiful, wild place.

I love abstract photography, free thought & creativity & anything surreal.

For me, meaning is gained from taking something out of context. I like to exlpore this with my work. The world is a crazy place, after all ...

I am developing a series of spontaneous images based on my love for kitsch, surrealism and abstract photography. Often I will use kitsch vintage items as part of my work. I love depression glass for its patterns and light reflecting qualities.

I also dabble in jewellery design and poetry... Anything that puts this world in a more beautiful or humourous light... with a little chilli sauce and sugar on the side...

I am a treasure hunter... gathering my photographic subjects in unusual places, often from unusual people. It is a rewarding job.
I enjoy photographing handmade and vintage treasures for my Etsy store.

I also work in my local library & am always reading big, fat, juicy novels (Stephen King is a favourite...) If you have any recommendations for good reading, please feel free to let me know :)

Apart from that, I am the usual kind of humanoid who enjoys creative innings & outings & all things thought-provoking & beautiful ~*~
