# About me
Good evening all! My name is Alicia and here is some basic information about me:Age: 21
Location: Southern Australia
I'm currently at University doing a diploma of International Studies while I decide what kind of bachelor I want to do... I'm considering either Social Work or International Development. I still consider myself a writer even though I haven't written anything for a while. The burning desire and passion is still there regardless of the fact that it's not being used.
I've changed a lot since I last updated this so time for a renewal. For a start I am no longer filled with the same burning hatred and anger that once plagued me and caused a massive disruption to my life. I don't mind fan-art since I know it can help and inspire artists however since I'm not a "fan-girl"I tend not to get involved in that kind of thing. The insane amount of fan-art is part of why I stopped going on here simply because it isn't one of my interests.
I got severe depression and anxiety at the age of 10 and am finally in the end stages of battling the bastard out. 5 years of therapy later and hundreds of relapses and I'm finally at the point where it's bothering me less and less. I still get severely anxious at times but that is dwindling - Thank Goodness! Thanks to my mental health issues I have a very optimistic outlook on the world and it's taught me about suffering and freedom. Sometimes you need to be out in the storm to appreciate the rainbow.
Finally I would like to give a message to those still suffering. You do not need to suffer and you can get help.
The above picture was taken at a happy moment in my life after a terrible one. I am the one on the right. I was 15 when that photo was taken.
