Hello! I'm not sure if you remember me but I try to collect your paintings of Naruto's family. Anyway, I'm not coming to AX this year but my sister is and I gave her specific instructions to facetime me when she locates your booth. It was probably a good thing that I didn't encounter this painting at AX because I'm certain I would have shed some tears and ruined whatever makeup I had on for my cosplay. I lined up this new painting with the first painting I bought from you in 2010. I am gazing at these paintings in sheer fascination of your talent for conveying the legacy Naruto's parents left him. I love the metallic gold accents that pair with the red in Naruto's clothes. There is so much movement in the draping of the clothes and in Kushina's hair--it's like there is a gust of wind emanating from Naruto. Minato, who you've usually portrayed as cool and reserved has a grin that matches Kushina's! At the center, of course, is Naruto looking more confident and ready to take on anything. There is obviously a different story expressed in these two paintings but more importantly, this new piece has details that show your skills are advancing as well.
I don't just like it; I love it! I want to learn how to frame it and preserve it. Direct sunlight would be bad right?
I can't express enough how much I adore this painting and I really hope you will continue to use your talents to keep growing as an artist. When you make art like this you make the Naruto fandom even cooler!!
