Yup, you found me! And aww, thanks. I only post artwork on this page - we're starting up a different page for the results of our group's photoshoots (I need to request the proper permission/releases from some photographers before I can post some of my favorite shots). The group page (it's still in early stages at the moment-WHM says I get to spruce it up so it's decent) is IPCosplay , and if you haven't found WHM's yet, it's Halfanelf

It's actually patching for 2.4 right now, haha. I've been catching up on the 2.3 content recently on both of my characters (one on Leviathan, one on Ultros), which has involved me relearning MNK (main job on Ultros) since it's been so long since I've done anything but heal. Hoping to go back to raiding with some of my rl buddies on Ultros during 2.4.

I'd sooner go with thief, if only because I gravitate almost automatically towards utility melee classes, and thief looks like it has some promise there. I might try ninja later after everyone else has gotten their yayas out over it, though, heh.

That's my worry with Dark Knight... I've been complaining about a lack of a Great Sword class AND hoping it would be tanky since the game came out. I just assumed it would be DK and that it would be like FFXI and be a dps class. When it turned out to be a tank... well it was like Yoshi-P was taunting me to come back. I'm talking to one of the people who used to heal for me and I might give it a shot. Archeage is still pretty boss though and has plenty for me to work on.

I'm not much of an RPer, but Halfanelf is. I'm more interested in endgame content, myself. That isn't to say that I find the lore uninteresting - anyone will tell you I'm a ridiculous lore junkie - I'm just more into running raids (when I have the time, anyway - it's been sadly lacking, lately) than RPing.
Our ACN is currently playing Archeage as well; she says it has a lot of great content. If I weren't already underwater on the MMO front, with 2.4 just released for ARR and Warlords of Draenor dropping in half a month, I'd probably be more likely to pick it up, heh.

Several of my guild members on Ultros went on hiatus around the same time that I did; we're drifting back in again as 2.4 ramps up and trying to get our raid group back up and running again (guild is mainly comprised of several different groups of people that know each other IRL). Guessing we'll go back through the first several turns of Coil to ramp our game back up/gear any who need it for new jobs, and then proceed to new content from there.

I admittedly still have the raid bug >< But I'm trying to weigh what's more important for me: RP or Raiding and I'm leaning toward RP. I'm a Balmung kid myself and have had some good times there, we just lost our healer all of the sudden and it kind of killed everything. That and my line of work has me on call pretty much 24/7. Doesn't mean I'm getting yanked out of the house all the time but it is a reality that has happened to me before. That and I love tanking, and with all the Dark Knight fanfare approaching I'm sure that most people need things like healers more than tanks =/
I hope you all are getting back into the swing of things. When I left we were doing turn V of coil and we're just starting to get dive bombs down. (Effing dive bombs ><)
