Hey EuTytoAlba,
I saw your Artorias 3D model where you had all the items seperated. Is it possible to get that 3D file for my cosplay?
(
Thank you already in advance!

You want what I had done so far? Because, the pieces may be separated, and good references to look at, but this file was still
a long way from being a working papercraft.....

Alright, I found it.
I was working on it in a freeware studio called kHED.
Is it alright if just send the model in kHED's native format, and a copy of the studio if you [most likely] don't already have it?
kHED can export to OBJ, which all other 3D studios can read. I just don't want to go to the trouble of doing that myself right now.....

Hey there - I am not looking for the papercraft since I am doing all from foam and I enjoy the process of "creating" the templates/armor myself alot
Main issue is that e.g. the cloak is blocking a huge amount of the armor (details - backarmor) and the model would help with that

I absolutely love your papercraft! I am currently looking for a few Bloodborne models. Could I pay you to assist me? I would need Yharnam, her Dagger, the knights set, the saw cleaver and the hunter pistol.

Just the 3D models themselves, or unfolded as papercraft templates? Because as papercrafts, that's several months' work.
If you're just looking for models to play with, Tokami-Fuko already has shared several from Bloodborne. www.deviantart.com/tokami-fuko…

Thanks for the response. I would only need the models. I've looked for a while, and I have yet to see the models for Yharnam, her blade, and the knights set.

Sorry I'm taking so long. I have stuff going on.....
Not sure if I can find Queen Yharnam's knife unless it's already with her model in the data instead of its own separate file......

No need to apologize, I totally understand. If you could find the knife, it would be amazing. Thank you very much for looking at the files!

When ripping the models from the game for papercraft, what programs/methods do you use? Especially for Dark Souls. I am currently attempting to rip the Crimson Set mask out of the game for use as a .stl 3D file, but am having issues doing it correctly. Your papercraft models are the closest thing I have found to figuring it out.
Any help would be appreciated, even if just some links to the proper programs. Thank you.

For Dark Souls, I think this was the tutorial I followed: youtu.be/ideMuecmH8s
The video has links to the programs needed in its description, but here they are, copied:
Rick's Tools for Dark Souls
Noesis
You'll also need a 3D studio, of course.
If you aim to 3D-print the mask... (guessing by .stl) I'd use Noesis there to export the Crimson Set headpiece (filename: HD_M_9260 under Parts folder, when you get that far-----if you haven't already) to .obj format, then import that .obj to kHED (which is just my particular studio of choice----a freeware) and hand-make the necessary edits to the model to remove the hood around it and make sure the mask model is "manifold", then save that as a .obj and use MeshLab (also freeware) to convert it to .stl.
3D seems always a many-step process. Anybody who says otherwise is probably downloading someone else's work without comprehending what went into it....

Thank you, very much. I will get to work right away. This is exactly what I need.
Also, I have printed out and have started work on the Sunlight Maggot PDO you made. Great work, I'm having a lot of fun with it.

You're welcome!
Oooo, the Sunlight Maggot! This is the first I've heard of anyone even attempting that beast, so far.
That's one of the ones I most want to build, myself, but I've procrastinated and tried to focus on just making more new templates....
I hope you will post pictures when you're finished.

Hello! I'm a fan of the papercraft models you've made so far but there's only one problem with it. I can't make head or tail of the file to be able to craft them. Can you please show us how to make them?
Thanks for the contributions you've made so far!

I want to make some how-to videos and have finally acquired a good camera, but I'm under a lot of stress IRL and haven't been able to pull any of the projects that I have planned (and half-prepped) together yet. Just keep an eye out, and I'll post what I can when I can.......

You're welcome. I'm a sucker for angels.... And Ruvik is so screwed up, nice to see him have a glimmer of healing for a change...

Actually, I'm totally in LOOOOOOOVE with Ruvik XD
I don't think he is that insane. He just go through a big trauma and nobody helped him.
They just broke him even more.

EuTytoAlba In reply to Illo1 [2017-02-10 09:22:01 +0000 UTC]
I'm also a sucker for archetypal 'mad-scientists'.....yeah including Ruvik even though I still think he's not merely insane but innately cruel. I think of Leslie as insane but kind, for contrast. Still, I like Ruvik anyway because I can find good qualities in him even at his worst (ingenuity....so sexy), BUT still fault him for hurting others, including small animals when he was just a child BEFORE anything traumatic happened to him, and random innocent people that he abducted and experimented on wherever he found them, not just guilty people who hurt him and Laura. As far as I'm concerned, Ruvik BECAME a fire, destroying everything in its path indiscriminately......

I agree.
Ruvik is definitely sexy

Well, as they say in Steampunk circles, sapiosexy.
Before he was scarred, I think he looked like Commander Data.
Still don't think he's boyfriend material, though. For one thing, too possessive,
as in, "You're mine, to do with as I please, blah blah blah....." STFU Ruvik.

Hahaha, I don't know why, but for me, it was love at first sight.
I don't normally like psychos, but Ruben...
He is so complicated, I like it.
And even with those burns I find him handsome.

EuTytoAlba In reply to Illo1 [2017-02-11 19:50:53 +0000 UTC]
Well, that hood is uber-sexy.... *hood connoisseur*
And complicated characters are the best.
I usually fall for characters that are half-cracked....because that's kinda how I see myself; who else would put up with me? ...but draw the line when they have no ethics. Even if I like them, I wouldn't hesitate to add a black eye to their troubles if they're asking for it.
I was trying to say I didn't like how he looked before he was scarred. Hate to tell him they were an improvement... Ruvik reminds me a lot of the Phantom of the Opera---tormented not only by his own genius, but by his ruined vanity.
Have you heard of Miracle Of Sound?

Illo1 In reply to EuTytoAlba [2017-02-11 20:49:28 +0000 UTC]
I think that Ruvik couldn't be that sexy without the burns haha
But I'm so sorry for him
His story reminds me mine. I think it helps me to love him that much.
I think I'm a bit crazy too. Well... more than a bit actually. XD
I love looking crazy. I know, I'm weird. x)
No, I didn't, but tell me

Wait, you meant a story that you wrote?
Aagh, I was referring to how I lost my dog last year. I swear we had a mad vet....
God it's hard to forgive..... I miss him every day.

EuTytoAlba In reply to Illo1 [2017-02-11 23:17:12 +0000 UTC]
Except without his hood I keep staring at his exposed brain....
Aww, that's not good. Sorry to hear that.
Me too, actually... Real life sucks, doesn't it....
But I think TEW didn't tell us enough about the other characters, especially Leslie and Tatiana, which makes it really hard for players to find anything in common with them. For all we know, Tatiana was really Sebastian's missing wife disguised behind Clark Kent glasses. For lack of any other distinguishing trait, I even nicknamed her Ms. Talk-And-Walk.

Miracle Of Sound is a music artist, a one-man-rock-band who writes tributes to video games, and his tribute to "Evil Within" was how I heard about it. You gotta hear this! youtu.be/gu-84gXPu6Y
