i'm okay. i quit the shop i was at unfortunately. still trying to find another shop to pull me in but had to take some good ol retail jobs for the season. luckily those are over now and i can get back to prodding tattoo places. been inking at home with disposables but i don't really like em.. not a lot of control with plastic tubes =\ hrmph! so will work harder to get into a new place fast!

It's looking at pieces like these that make me want to get a tattoo so bad. There's so much color and creativity. But, I'm a huge baby and can't stand near being any type of needle.

aww, what a shame.
Tattoos are UNLIKE AAANNNYYY other thing that involves a needle. It's not like a piercing or drawing blood with a MASSIVE needle that WAY punctures your skin. Tattoos are done by teeny tiny needles that merely brush across the surface of your skin. Sure they hurt, but it's more of an annoying hurt than an unbearable hurt.
You're REALLY cheating yourself out of a lot by denying yourself the joys of a tattoo

Well, it's not really pain that bothers me, nor blood. I just never liked needles; I go out of my way to keep away from them. Maybe some day I'll get one, it's just a matter of getting the guts to do it.
I have thought about one my foot, but I've also heard it hurts more because of the lack of fat and how bony our feet are. Is that true?

yes, the foot has been known to be a more tender location for a tattoo. But not for EVERYBODY, and that has ZERO to do with badassyness. I've had complete wusses (pardon me) take a foot AMAZINGLY, and I've had total badasses struggle with a foot tattoo. Why does it hurt more? NOt fatty? Bones? No, none of the above, or all of the above. Who cares WHY it hurts more? Especially when it's random for every single next person. But it only hurts ONCE, then you can enjoy it for decades!

I did not make it out to BM this year because i just had a baby. I was 7 months pregnant during the burn, and if you'd ever been to BM before you'd know (or can imagine) that it is an impossible feat to attempt to tackle the week of extreme nature and high level debauchery while growing a little burner inside of you.
My hubby and I got married out there in '07. It was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back!
