Favorite bands / musical artists: Metric, Sleigh Bells, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Digital Daggers, The Strokes, Deftones.... ugh so many I can't think of them all right now
Favorite books: I don't read as much as I should!
Favorite writers: Robert Jordan! And J. K. Rowling because her life story inspires me to keep on keeping on.
Favorite games: I still play Skyrim, and Final Fantasy Tactics is my FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME
Favorite gaming platform: PC, although I've been playing a lot of old PS1 games lately
Tools of the Trade: Pencil and Paper. PC for any writing
Other Interests: I want to meet all my characters in the dream world in my head.

# About me

The best analogy I ever heard for suicidal depression was as followed; you're in a burning building, on the... say, 100th floor. The entire place is up in flames, your apartment is up in flames, your room is up in flames, and soon you will be too. You're only hope of escaping the miserable torment is to leap from your window. You have no chance of surviving. It's dizzyingly high and you are terrified by the mere idea, the freefall, and splattering harshly on the pavement. But you're just as afraid of being consumed entirely by fire, your suffering is getting worse by the minute. Do you endure the flames and the agony until it's over, or do you take matters into your own hands, face your fear... and end it yourself? The analogy was referencing life. That some of us find it so unbearable, so odious, that you would rather end it than endure another moment of it. That's me in a nutshell. I'm only continuing to play this game because I'm simply too afraid of the alternative. But there will be suffering, no matter what I do. My own, or those who love me.
