Hi I’m Steve Crompton I am the art director for Twisted Entertainment. We are working on a super hero related game and need to create a 14 page comic for part of the website. We might even print it as a color mini-comic to pass out at conventions

I saw your pencils at deviant art felt like you might be good match for what we need.

Cool gallery man. I really dig your TMNT stuff. It's always cool to see people doing the Turtles in the comic style instead of like the cartoon(s). Keep up the good work!

Thanks man!, Yeah nothing wrong with the cartoons, but I grew up with the old grey scale TMNT stuff blowing my mind.

Yeah, I was the complete opposite. My initial exposure was the cartoon, but when I got a little older I started buying the comics and never looked back. It was amazed at how different the comics were from the cartoon, in pretty much every way possible. The 2K3 series was actually pretty good though I thought--a lot better than the original show, at least to someone who enjoys the source material.

I agree, and actually thought the CGI TMNT movie, tone wise hit it pretty close to the comics as well.

Yeah the CGI movie was pretty good. My only beef with it was that it seemed like it couldn't decide if it wanted to appeal to kids or the adults that grew up with it. Some parts were too stupid and goofy for me and other parts were probably too serious and intense for kids. They didn't balance it that well. If you took out some of the goofy stuff and cheesy jokes then it would have been an amazing movie. My favorite part was how each Turtle had a slightly different look. Especially when standing next to each other, you could see that they were different heights and builds, with Raph being bigger than the others. Cool details like that made the movie fun for me.
