I posted some details on the page for the last one you did for me, but in case you haven't seen it yet...
Right, I would like to request another picture of Gra-Vil (that's the name of the character I had you draw last time, in-story).
He is garbed identically to the last time, but there are two key differences: one, you can *just* see the tip of his nose poking out from his cowl (said nose should probably be beak-like, or...well, whatever, as long as it's sufficiently reptialian.
Two, he is holding the staff over his shoulder, looking as if he is ready to strike. For reference, think something along the lines of this:

Take note of how the hammer is held.
Also, I have a specific idea in mind for the background, which we'll get to later.

Erm, hello. I know this is terribly sudden, but I have a request, and I heard that you are both willing to take them and good at drawing people. I need to keep my cards close to my chest for now, but let's just say that this image requires quite a lot of robes, as well as a hood and staff. I hope you read this, because to make my latest project a success, I need a picture, and there simply aren't any fitting ones online yet!

I'm writing a story, or large fanfic to be more precise. However, the site I'm uploading to (a very large one) asks for you to provide an image to go with it (if not, they'll use one of their own, and none of theirs will really fit my theme). I'd be grateful if you'd work on it for me. What I need is an image of a humanoid dressed in robes, with its face concealed. His arms (the visible parts) are scaled (as in reptilian), and he's holding a staff with a carven snake's head at its tip. I've got an image that shows roughly the pose I'm looking for at the following link (it's the sixth model pictured, the guy named Narris Mortis - sadly I cannot find him by himself).

okay a couple of questions:
-cloak~are the sleeves full length or cut off at the shoulder, and if so does it have an unfinished ragged edge or is it finished?
-staff~im guessing its a dark wood, but is it gnarled or a smooth straight bark?
-snake head~ is it the mouth open or closed?
Want to make sure I can get the image as close as possible for you, and thanks for the ref pic, it'll help a lot.

Let it also be said that if your art got onto EQD you'd probably get quite a bit of extra traffic. Whether or not you want that is a different matter, of course, but it's probably make a difference.

Cloak - Should be full-length, and finished (instory it's an heirloom from a talented civilisation). Black works best, but brown is also acceptable. Dark blue isn't bad either - basically, something dark.
Staff -Dark wood, smooth, the serpent's mouth is wide open, as if it's hissing. (Again, another heirloom).
Thank you again, this will be a great help to me. For reference, the background would look best if it was heavily wooded, implying that he's leaving the forest's eaves. Although, the background isn't strictly necessary, the character is the most important thing. Oh, and it should be night.
