Amazing work, the macabre darker feel always comes through with the darker red tones.

It's going really well (i think!) I'm really happy in what I have achieved in the past year or so...2 movies that will be coming out this year...and I'm currently working on a TV show called Paranormal Witness, so I do feel blessed!

I kinda wish I had several breakups in a year (understand - several relationships) rather than being in one from 20 to 27, which is really an interesting age, and then having to forget everything.

Yeah....well they suck. I feel like..since i've moved to Toronto I've had so many breakups...3 years...3-4 breakups! That sucks ! Haha... But then..I always kept comparing in a way...with my previous relationship (lasted 6 years) and...because I was so used to...our ways. Meh.

I was at an information evening tonight for a course in Cinemagraphic makeup I'm doing next year (so excited!) and I was looking through a magazine and I saw a picture of the Medusa character work you did for IMATS in it, and I was like hey Monik Walmsley did that!

Do you know that "man" is me. A gal in drag! Thanks. Have you tried prostetics made in gel? Saw this adverted from a special effects makeup site. It has the benefit of no cooking in an oven, but I wonder how they hold up if one is doing a day of parading and cosplaying in the heat. I've read they are reusable. But I wonder. You can ask me anything as well, but I suspect you know more about SFX makeup than I do.

Hmm, Actually I have made prosthetics out of gelatin, but only a little piece : [link]
Yeah they don't need to cook in an oven it's pretty nice actually, but it doesn't have the other benefits as foam latex that's for sure.
Since they're made out of gelatin, any sort of...too much heat might/most-likely make the prosthetic melt. I wouldn't reuse a prosthetic unless you really HAVE to, just because when you remove it the edges aren't going to be as smooth as they were, but if you're great at hiding the edges again , and if you absolutely need to use the same one again then why not!
