Where did you learn to draw?

Drawing is just my hobby to do alone, but its almost my whole lifetime hobby!
I remember when I first drew realistic portrait, it was 15 years ago!*feel old*

I've been drawing for a few years now too- but I mostly draw animals!
I've been wanting to draw humans- but I haven't been too successful. I'm just not happy with the way my human drawings turn out. I do love the sketchy-realistic style you have and that I've seen on animatics and such but I just can't seem to get it right!
That is a while ago haha- was it an art class that had you drawing your first portrait?

Well I've never learned it anywhere.. and the first portrait was my mom >///<
I really liked to copying photo of my favorite people! It is chasing the beauty, kind of way.. you know? That was my first step.
I saw your gallery, wow you are really good at drawing animals!
Drawing humanΒ won't be difficult for you. My suggestion it, just try coping portrait photos, more the better.
If you draw a lot in fully realistic style, simple sketchy style will follow naturally. I guarantee it!

Hello! Iβd like to ask if you used reference in your IM1 drawing? I found another person who may have traced/edited your art without sourcing, but I canβt be sure. The pose and lines are uncannily similar, but if you both had used the same reference, then I can go readily and say that I had been mistaken
