That's cool! Honestly, seeing all those constellations in pretty colors makes me feel so happy ( I like cosmic/stars themes) . I tried painting and watercolor pencils in the past too and it's kinda hard to learn how to use them.

I personally think that using paint is more difficult than using pencils (it's easier to make a mistake D: ). Thank you! I still use them sometimes though I mostly switched to digital art nowadays :3

Yeah, digital drawing and painting is kinda hard too. When I got my tablet I wasn't sure what to do with it . Though to be fair, all types of art have something difficult in them. For example, there are many tutorials for digital art but very few for traditional drawing and painting D:

I didn't buy my premium with money- I used points,  though you can only buy 3 months or 12 months premium with them D:. Also it sucks that deviantart raised the prices so much. 
I see, too bad you can't change your dA name (I wanted to change mine for a while now because it sounded very feminine and people assumed I'm a girl). But don't worry- perhaps dA will do some one-day/week core membership presentation and everyone would get to test core membership for short period of time? They used to do this in the past so there's a chance they'd do it again.

There are groups on dA that host point raffles or contests for points or premiums though the chance of winning is still quite low. I once won a 3 month premium that way

hmm that's true. Well, at least in giveaways you usually only have to sign in and don't have to do stuff (aside from perhaps advertise the giveaway in your journal) but still it would take lots of time to win 1,200 points needed . But let's be positive, maybe deviantart will give one day core membership at some point
