Hey, sure, you have pretty nice art especially considering your just started out digital. Great concepts and ideas!
You pretty much have the same history as me, mainly a design/visual artist and started up illustration only fairly recently-ish. Seems like you have a good grasp on how to improve, maybe need to work on clarity a little. Its actually beneficial to try and work on less layers for a painted style, and then merge, or use layers to seperate out parts you may want to edit, for lighting/colour/details/texture, etc. Gives you more flexibility, too many layers kind of locks you in, but just find a steady process that works for you. And maybe try other programs, manga studio (Clip Studio) for me, the brushes feel much nicer and better organised, photoshop is the go to for tools/effects/touchups, but I dont feel for painting/illustration. Anyway, keep it up. ^^

Hey totally, no problem. Havent been on DA in a few days since I've been busy, so sorry for slow reply. I've been working on probably my technically best work yet but only 2 hours or so at a time on and off so its been slow going.

Heh, I think they ended up catching up with the manga too much and the show was flooded with months of fillers, not great ones either. Pretty sure that's what killed it. They should've ended with Aizen, and then there's issue with power creep too, how do you convey how amazingly powerful everyone is now and still have them improve? (I feel like Naruto did a better job with that, Bleach was all about the power reveals). But hey maybe they'll start it back up someday.Β
