I'm doing well.. going through some rough patches along with the whole corona virus pandemic going on here. Other than that I'm still artistically active... sorta.

Yeah, a bunch of people died at the hospital where Sunriseoflove goes to get treated, so we're all very nervous.

Eh, the art block is less related to Coronavirus and more related to the fact that I'm taking 19 credits and barely have enough time to even breathe.

Rough patches? What's going on on your side of things?

What? Dude, no. I watched you because I love your art and you're a nice person. I found out about your works through your sister and I really like your style.

Plus this is my first time expressing my concern through you because I haven't heard from her in a while. (Sunrise) Other than that I like you and your siblings (Milky as well cause I like some of the pictures she's taken) on here in your own unique way for what you draw/specialize in and how you do it.

I was afraid you would think this and I can relate to that. The last thing I want is to make people feel used and I apologize for making you feel that way. It's not my intention..

I met you through your sister and I'm happy I met her over a common bond. I'm more than happy to stick around as a watcher and even as a friend or acquaintance if you like.
There's more to you than just your art and you deserve more credit than what you got. I'm glad to be one of those to witness your talent. As long as you and your siblings are well, I'm OK with that.

Also fair warning I can say things that might sound like a misunderstanding. I'm trying to choose my words more carefully and it's not easy...

Aw, thank you for saying that, yeah unfortunately it's been quiet since I got a deviantart account of my own. My sister used to post all my stuff to her account and it seemed to get so much more attention when she posted it. But then again the art I did for her account was more fandom-related whereas the art I post here is more original, so I can understand why it's been so tough to meet people and build up watchers who interact with me.

It's cool. I'm very sensitive to emotions so thanks for reassuring me. It's good that your sister shares your works as long as she gives you credit, she gives you a shoutout all the time.
Original art never seems to get that much attention compared to fanart... I have lots of OCs too and out of my watchers only about 3-5% of them like my OCs while the rest just watch me for the fanart I draw, and that's fine. You can always promote your works more by submitting them in groups.

If you like, once I finish a trade and commission, I can even draw a character of yours and give you a shoutout when I make the time. They'll love your works as much as I, your siblings, and your current watchers do. But other than that, if you want to start small then try adding your artworks to groups as you go and see what happens.

Yeah, but I thought it was about time I become brave and start posting my own stuff myself.

I've been submitting some of my stuff to groups and whatnot, but I think my main issue is that I don't upload often enough to keep people consistently interested.

Also I noticed on your gallery that you have fanart of Ballerina/Leap? I love that movie! I know it's super cheesy and cliche but I've watched it a billion times, though I can't put my finger on why I like it so much. It's just such an indulgent film for me. Why did you like it?

Nothing wrong with expressing yourself. Your OCs look cool and I read a fair bit of Elahilamalafos Reborn because the comic art style looks amazing. Even I like to make comics but it takes so much time and you gotta make the right amount of space for dialogue and other appropriate action sequences for each panel. It's hard and for you to pull it off deserves a kudos.

I see a lot of great art on my feed, including yours, but I haven't made enough time to add them all to my favorites or even comment on them. I have a late commission to finish as well as a trade, and after that I'll move on to making tributes.

I love Leap/Ballerina. I've seen its flaws with logic and historical inaccuracy, but I love it for its story, it's soundtracks (some of the songs were catchy) and above all the character designs. The main character, Felicie, looks like a genderbent version of one of my OCs, and other characters like Victor, Merante, Odette, and Camille, all looked great. I felt sorry for Camille though... she deserves her own happy ending. Her mother (or perhaps stepmother cause they don't seem to look alike) definitely looks like a stereotypical villainess and I like how her creators pulled that off. The CGI was the winner for the entire movie. It's a well-executed but underrated movie like Strange Magic.
I watch Barbie movies so I don't mind hearing or raving about cliche movies like this. it's movies like that which serve as a good pick-me-up when the going gets tough.

Aw thank you! Yeah comics are super hard. Not for everyone I'm sure but they just seem to take so much time and effort. I'm going to try to start up Ehmf: Reborn again once I move to my new apartment and don't have a lot to do. I think what you do is wise, cutting down the number of panels per page.

I do wish you all the best in moving to your new apartment!!! Cutting down the number of panels does help when making action scenes or lengthy dialogues - which I guess should be kept at a minimum. I'm not that sure nor am I that good at making comics at this stage yet though.

Yeah, it took me a good amount of time to figure out how to set up panels as well. My thumbnail sketches are completely unintelligible as a result lol. This may be the last comic I do - the end product is fun but they're so time-consuming!

Like, Wendy has mature asian features, and Fayle has... um... well, she just has cute puffy lips. (Because i just wanted to make a female character with puffy lips because i find them cute.)
