Oh golly, hands! I have the same problem--in fact it holds me back a lot since poses become sort of limited. I find practicing cartoon hands to be a nice base to build off of. At least I have two real life references when I'm drawing.

Hey post, even just scraps if you doodle out anything neat. You tend to keep lines nice and crisp--but still get some interesting flow going on. Me? It's scribble central all day.

Thanks! Although I would like to use crisper lines, I just can't seem to make sketchy lines work for me at all :/ It's neat that you've been able to develop your lines in such an interesting way!

Why thank you. I've forgotten if I asked, but do you own a tablet? I do and even with such a tool dedicated to make nice crisp lines I just end up nipping it apart. Β Β Β Β Β Anyway when I work with pen I have at least two different sizes--but for detail to be done confidently having reeeeeeaaallly thin pen tips help. I have messed up so many pictures by using a pen that was too big.

Β I have no idea if you have asked before. Regardless, I am not bothered. I do. Although it is not the highest quality and I mean to get a new one. Though, I also intend to practice more digital art anyway, but dammit I love traditional!Β
Β Ah, yes. I have a few very finely tipped pens that I break out once in a while. I do hate it when big, thick ends screw up my fine details and muddle them all together. It frustrates me absolutely.Β
