That's really cool. Well worth it. I started getting into it around last year. I've just been working on teaching myself different ways and things that help make the picture better, and what not.

One thing I learned is that for some reason, a picture always looks better when it's off center.

I agree. And i try and do that. If it's in the way i think you mean haha. It just makes the picture a lot better looking.

Nikon Coolpix. Like the really old one lol. I wanna get a new camera. Mine is great but there's only so much I can do with it, ya know?

Those are pretty nice cameras. I like. It could be a way worse camera haha. But i know exactly what you mean, i had a phone to use for my first goodish camera lol. You should get one, it's wayyy worth it.
Mine is a Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18MP It cost a fairly pretty penny too. about 600-700. Worked hard to get it! I'd recommend getting a Canon for your second camera, Cheaper, Just as good if not better, and more for Outdoors. I think all my newer pictures were taken with mine.

My current one actually really sucks at anything but focusing lol. And the only good pictures I get are outside. The lighting can't necessarily be fixed on my camera. Not enough to make a great picture anyway.

Hahaha I hated that with point and shoots. It can get really annoying. There's actually a reason night pictures are hard to get. You have to let the shutter stay open for a long period of time for it to capture most night pictures (like the sky) but I'm sure you knew that haha.
