# About me

Hey there folks! I am a semi professional artist working and living in Cork, Ireland. I call myself semi professional as although I have a part time job outside the medium of art I do partake in the odd piece of freelance commission work.

I've been interested in all things creative from a very young age. It started, as it does for many Irish school children, with the Art category in the Irish Community games competition that was held every year. Weeks were spent toiling over pipe cleaners and playdough. From there I entered every art competition that came up and went on to be one of only 3 boys to take part in my Art Class once I moved on to secondary school level. I loved every minute of it.

After under a year of studying Art in Cavan Institute in the late 00's, I failed to finish (something I've always regret) and although offered a place in BCFE, Dublin, I failed to accept due to a lack of grant and enthusiasm.

But my love for art still remains, even though the drive is not always with me. I run my own Mural painting business, Maze Murals and am currently in the process of broadening my understanding of digital painting with Photoshop.
