Love the TL 191 pics. Are you ever going to return to that series? I'm surprised byΒ howΒ few Harry Turtledove illustrations are on DA. Worldwar should provide a goldmine of various characters and machines and species, and it astounds me that it's not there. The Guns of the South and The Two Georges aren't too shabby either for possibilities. I try to visualize his version of Political Bigfoot (one story of which was officially published on lineΒ at:Β www.tor.com/2016/06/15/typecasβ¦) but have difficulty.

I think things are fine, apart from the water boil advisory over the weekend and all the back-breaking pain I endured while working at the polls yesterday. The minuscule plastic chairs were the only blight of the day.

I also have a thing for Weird WWII and mecha.
That piece in particular reminds me of the video game Silent Storm, using bulky power armour to infiltrate enemy bases (even though it takes five hours to get them in the right place).

It's by Nival Interactive. The game play is either continuous or turn-based, depending on your preferences, and looks/plays a bit like X-Com with modern graphics.
